Bella Vista is one of two adjacent identical homes with a fantastic and spacious living area, each with three bedrooms and solid oak furniture. The open living space with lounge, kitchen and dining area has ceramic floor tiles. Through the large patio door you enter a large terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and the vineyards that extend to the medieval town of Città Sant Angelo. On the ground floor is the ten by five meter swimming pool with salt treatment, surrounded by a tiled terrace and grass that offers ample space for sunbathing on the sun loungers. For those looking for shade, there are parasols, trees and a pergola. The swimming pool is shared with the guests of the adjacent house, Casa Felice.
The panoramic view overlooks the swimming pool, the medieval town of Città Sant Angelo, a small lake and the stunning mountain ranges of the Gran Sasso and the Maiella. This view is breathtaking. Just 5 kilometers from the sea and sandy beaches, this domain offers peace and quiet for a relaxing holiday. The house is fully equipped with all necessities and the garden is beautifully cared for. There is sleeping accommodation for maximum 7 people in the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The entire house has air conditioning.
You can also rent both houses, but you must contact us first.
The final cleaning costs €85 and must be delivered in cash to the cleaning lady.

Great property, with some surprises
This rental was a beautiful property set on a ridge overlooking a green valley of olive groves, vineyards and farms and the village of Citta Sant’Angelo on the next ridge over. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nice, the pool was clean and fun. The host provided good information about nearby restaurants. For families, there were plenty of activities. There were some surprises in the rental. Without garbage service at the property, we were provided with two garbage bags for one week and told that garbage and recycling was to be hauled to public dumpsters two towns over. The washing machine is shared with the other property in the duplex. Cable television didn’t really work. Also, the host surprised us with a request to leave €30 in cash as an “energy fee” for using the air conditioning, which was listed as an amenity. The cash payment cleaning fee was also increased between what was listed on the listing and what was requested to be paid. It’s disappointing to get squeezed for a little extra after paying a fair, and agreed-upon rate for a week’s rental.

Great hideway in Abruzzo, Italy
Great luxurious property in an absolutely fantastic location. The apartment is well equip and with a nice layout. We enjoyed the stay and views of the Abruzzo countryside. What was not clear from the ad was that there was two apartments (Casa Felice and Bella Vista) in the house sharing the pool and surroundings, which was not a part of our plan when we decided on isolation vacation in Italy. Fortunately, the people in the other apartment also understood the importance of social distancing given COVID-19. Besides some minor problems with the car gate to the property, which was sorted out by a little trick provided by the owner (I recommend putting that in the welcome letter), our stay in Bella Vista was a success thanks to the owners great dedication to details from kitchen equipment and charcoal grill to pool deck furnitures.
