The stay was great, just make sure you get there before it gets dark, as the road to the home is on a private long dirt road, next to a river/stream. There are cows and chickens, and outside fire pit.The home has enough space and comfy couches and a large enough kitchen to cook a feast. The only downside when my fiancé arrived before me, she said there were men outside the Barndiminum, where she was to park. VRBO advertises that the homes rented are "free" of homeowners, so we were expecting to not have anyone there when we arrived like in other places we have rented. So that through us off and it made my fiance uncomfortable, but the owner came over and introduced herself my fiance' said and she was very nice and explained all that she needed to know.We do undertand its on a farm which is great and we loved it, but we did not know the owner would be next door in the main house. We thought we were renting a home on a farm to ourself. for a couple days. Not that big of a deal, but for some people knowing the owner is in the house next door might be helpful. We would rent again, just didnt know some of those things ahead of time.
