Came for a dance competition on site. When I arrived, I didn’t have the greatest check in. Bell hop and valet were no where to be found. I unpacked my car and looked for a luggage cart and was approached by bell hop and was rudely told to bring the cart back. Then I finally got my car valet and the bell hop got mad at me that I used the revolving door, I didn’t know there was another door to use with the luggage cart. Later while I was in the lobby I saw the same man pushing other people’s luggage carts through that door. Incidental charges were very high for the stay. Once I got to my room after check
In, about 5 pm, housekeeping barged in my room, unannounced without an apology. Just glad I was decent. Two of my dance families got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant. There was a major leak in the 5th floor where the competition was. And “they fixed” it several times. Looking at the ceiling you can tell this wasn’t the first time. Phone service is awful, unable to use phone for the digital room key. Housekeeping wouldn’t replenish my coffee in the room. I had to call down and get it everyday and when I would get it, I wouldn’t get any cups. It always seemed as if someone was trying to get into my room, like a tapping on the key entry. No microwave. ….. I could go on but I’ll leave it at this. The convenience of the competition being right downstairs was great but for being a “Hilton”, I’m disappointed in the stay.
