Only compliments I can give is large room with small kitchenette and convenient location. Staff were not friendly. They charged $108 hold on my cc for one night stay. Gave me a two page list of all the additional charges they may give me and I had to take out my own trash downstairs to throw out in a designated area. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Lots of other hotel choices nearby

First when booking rooms on line they should also include the deposit fee or at least make you aware of that the fee will be added once you arrive at hotel to check in . I was very much inconvenienced due to this .Second I was so frightened around 11 pm at night I heard Loud shouting and fighting coming from one of the other guest near my room it sounded as if it was the room across from me at 12 midnight it got worse they were up and down the hallway I could hear very loud arguing that sounded like it could escalate. I wanted to leave immediately but around 1am they were quiet so I finally got a little rest still felt uneasy and unsure of my safety . I don’t think I will stay at this hotel again .

NOT Good Extended Stay America
Began with an attendant behind the cash register who was less than enthused about being there. Scowl on her face as we approached. She said there would be a fee if we checked in early. Came back after lunch. Room was bare of any kitchen utensils. "You give us $100, and we'll give you utensils"... I get that, but there was not even a coffee maker. NO COFFEE MAKER,... come on!! The hotel was advertised as having breakfast. But, in reality it was a "continental breakfast". Hard boiled eggs or packaged breakfast bars. Coffee. Every morning we had to come downstairs to get a cup of coffee.. come on! lastly, there were men constantly up and down the hallways shouting. Either in the lobby, or in the hallways. Shouting loudly and making you feel uncomfortable. Like a crime was about to be committed at any moment. In short, we weren't made to feel welcomed, weren't made to fee at home, or secure. I will never come to the Extended Stay America Premier Suites in Independence, OH again. oh, and the outside door that led to /into the rear entrance was never secure. That is: Swipe the card ...no effect. door was wide open.
