Nice host with little quaint ranch house.
Very helpful to fix a minor listing error in the Wi-Fi password. Extremely helpful to send my glasses after I forgot them. Gratefully!

Double booked
Paid and received confirmation. Got to the house in the middle of nowhere at midnight. Property was double booked. Called the ‘emergency help’ line for Vrbo and was told tough luck you are on your own. We can help you rebook on Tuesday. No mention of a refund. Property owner refunded and I got money back a week later. Slept in my car for a week while working a full time job. Not a nice experience.

Wonderfully cute cottage!
I stayed at the cottage for 3 nights while rockhounding on that edge of the state. It was charming. Compact and thoughtfully designed, equipped and decorated, it was quiet and next to a stream. It was nicely situated for a number of rockhounding locations, and has a nice porch suitable for sorting rocks. And sitting on and having a drink. I very much enjoyed my stay.
