It’s just so bad that I’m struggling to write anything positive. Cold top floor room for family of 4. Radiators very noisy and Luke warm. Lift only goes to 3rd floor so had to take steps. Curtain was missing, sunlight was disturbing kids to sleep. Total disaster, please avoid.

Good stay Overall
Good stay overall. The localization is the best part and the very friendly team. The bad part was the bathroom - With a huge window and no curtains, the neighbors could see everything.

The hotel is in a great location near the cathedral and historical sites in this beautiful city. It is an older property that is on the decline. Clean, but dated and not pleasing to the eye. The front desk staff was on the ball and very friendly when we had an electrical issue (a popped breaker) and a temporary internet outage. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and have easy access to the sites, this is a good place. If you are looking for a nice hotel or to spend a lot of time in your room, this might not the be the right place for you.

Easily the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Close to the central station but dirty and disgusting. The headboard was dirty and stained and the blanket all pilled. Plus no wifi in the room. Awful

The best thing about this property is the staff! They were courteous, friendly and accommodating. The building is an old building and the common areas are a bit worn and dated. It certainly does have character and was a nice change from a modern hotel. All common areas were clean. My room was smaller than any hotel I’ve been in but certainly enough for a two night stay. The room was clean and newly renovated. I liked it very much. The location of the hotel is great! Right downtown but yet on a quieter street. Close to the cathedral, shops and pubs and cafes. I would stay again tomorrow if I could!

Cheap, but very dated.
Hotel is in a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the Dom Cathedral, but the premises is extremely dated and is in need of major refurbishment. The rooms are like something out of the 1970's. However, it was clean and tidy, and above all - cheap. We'd gone out and imbibed a large amount of Kolsch, so were not that bothered about the state of the hotel. Would I stay there again? Probably not. I like my hotels a little more modern and upmarket.
