We stayed in one of the lodge buildings and our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The inn serves as a conference center so offered access to common rooms in the lodge as well, which included sofas, a TV and kitchen area. Breakfast was served at the castle and offered several hot options, along with pastries, cereal, coffee, juices, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and there were wild animals there, including big-horned sheep, mule deer and turkeys. This property is about five minutes from Garden of the Gods, but there are also paths and trails to walk on at the property, with beautiful views of the rocks.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the grounds so peaceful and inviting. Not only were the grounds beautiful but so were the people serving there. The service was exceptional. We thought that not having a TV in our room would be a downside but we quite enjoyed it. The rooms are slightly outdated but met our needs and were clean. We would stay again .

Loved that the property was so spacious with lots of walking trails. The castle is beautiful and the property setting is in such a lovely area with the rocks formations all over considering it borders on the Garden of the Gods. Explored the bottom floors of the castle which are open to view and this wonderful, knowledgeable gentleman John showed us around. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful too If you are wanting to get away from your usual hotel settings I would recommend. The out buildings where the guest rooms are are pretty basic and simple but had everything you need. It’s the beautiful property and the castle setting that makes your stay special I would stay here again …..you feel out in the country and yet still very close to Colorado Springs for restaurants
