It was a good and quiet place to stay

Very classy. Innkeepers were very accommodating. Breakfast was good and the property was beautiful. We will go again

We stayed for 3 nights and experienced breezy weather, great generational restaurants, shopping, sunsets, lighthouse sights, and more. Beautifully situated cottage that was exactly how it was described. Comfortable beds, rockers on back screened porch, fully equipped kitchen, and more. The communication was always prompt and informative. Thank you for making our first leg of the trip relaxing.

Check in was a breeze and location was amazing for fishing!!!!

We enjoyed staying at a sound house for the first time at the OBX. The main living part of the house was perfectly fine and clean and the rooms were decent size. The exterior of the house and the downstairs could use some attention. As other reviews have mentioned, the siding on one side of the house has melted from a house fire that was next door; curious when they will fix this as it's been mentioned in a few reviews And, I don't know if we just went at a time when the bugs had been unusually stirred up from storms, but I was really surprised by the amount of bugs, spiders and cobwebs that were on the outside of the house. I mean, I'm used to bugs at the beach, but this was just excessive. The exterior was covered in cobwebs and spiders. Perhaps we just went at a time of year that is "buggy." I don't know, I don't have any other visit to compare it to. The house would benefit from some type of pest control, if it's allowed in the area. And, as others have mentioned, the downstairs has an extremely musty smell, to the point, it's unpleasant to be down there, but you can't smell it in the main part of the house, and we just didn't use the downstairs except to set up our fishing equipment. The exterior and the downstairs is what made me rate it overall as a 3. We would stay here again, because it's a quiet neighborhood, but would love to see some improvements to the exterior of the house.

The property owners were easy to work with and very responsive. The property has everything you need and the community pool was well maintained. The location was perfect with tons of restaurants and activities, and a quick drive to the beach access. We would definitely book again. Thank you for sharing your home!
