What did I like about this property … Everything!! From the moment I walked in to check in, to my last day. Brian & Gina were so kind, friendly, and approachable. Talking to them was like talking to a friend. Just down to earth, kind humans! Housekeeping is so friendly and polite. Pet friendly. Great breakfast and espresso! ::) The character of this historic building is so lovely! Highly recommend.

So the amenities in the room were not functioning. In addition several lightbulbs had issues leaking excessively. Restaurant was absolutely horrible staff was very friendly but food was a poor quality for the price that they charge for it. To be quite honest McDonald's food was better.

Very glad we chose City Mills, super cute boutique style stay. The restaurant was wonderful. Whoever did the remodel left enough history to give it lots of character. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! Every staff member was friendly, hotel was super clean and just an all around great atmosphere. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here. Highly recommend City Mills Hotel!!

Okay. So everything was perfect... except that there were serious problems with security. Twice we had people just barge right into our room. On both occasions it was staff and it was clearly some sort of mix-up. But that shouldn't have happened. My wife and I were at various states of undress when this happened and although no one saw us naked, it could have been much worse. We addressed our concerns to the general manager and he did an excellent job of responding. We could not have asked for a better response. He refunded us one night stay, which was rather expensive for them, and he apologized profusely. We will definitely stay there again and give them another shot. Other than that issue, everything was superb.

Quaint Get Away

My husband and I took a quick trip to play a couple of rounds of golf. The hotel was very charming and we loved the atmosphere. It felt like staying at a bed and breakfast rather than a big hotel. I loved the styling and decor of the common areas and the way they turned the old mill into cozy rooms was spectacular.
