I actually was surprised at how simple & just convenient the entire trip went. So me & the Husband will be visiting the property again.

Property felt almost abandoned. Only 2 individuals stayed, no onsite presence. Pick key up under mat. Therefore, no access to ice machine. These needs to be moved so guests can access when no one there.

Great location to walk to dollar store, food and Brown county Music center. Not a fancy hotel but provided a safe, convenient, easy access over night stay. Plenty of parking if hauling a trailer

We checked out with 10 minutes of checking in. There were smashed bugs on the walls, stained towels, a ring of filth in the toilet, the dresser only had one of it's four drawers, the bed was broken and sloped heavily towards the headboard, the microwave was covered in a film of some kind, ... I was fully aware that the booking was unrefundable, but I figured it was probably a safe bet since it was on Expedia and had as many good reviews as bad. That was a terrible assumption - lesson learned. I feel like the listing and the positive reviews were horribly misleading, and that we were completely ripped off.

We chose Salt Lake Inn because we were attending a concert at Brown County Music Center. You can avoid the parking costs at the venue and walk from the inn. You can't get closer. Basic room with TV, microwave, frig. No coffee pot (but I'd brought one with). Recommend this hotel if you're wanting to stay overnight after a show.

Conveniency of it was nice. Front desk man was attentive and polite. Room had that “old room” smell. Trim around the door was broken and cracked then screwed back together. For a quick little vacation on cheap it wasn’t bad. Did enjoy the room. It was quiet. In my opinion worth staying. Building just needs some love.

The room was clean and convenient. The curtain did not cover the window and the parking lot light was extremely bright all night. The mini fridge made noise intermittently. The king bed had three small pillows, a very thin blanket, and a topper that felt like a curtain. We had a difficult time sleeping and left exhausted. Staff at check in and check out was very courteous.

I was worried when I discovered the office to smell strongly of cigarette smoke upon check-in, but was pleased to find that the room itself had no such odor. It was reasonably clean with moderately comfortable beds and appointed with updated fixtures (mini fridge, microwave, television). The cable had iffy reception but was available, but the password for the Wi-Fi, a random jumble of letters and numbers, didn't work. The only staff I saw was the gentleman working the desk and check-in and check-out and he was kind with a welcoming smile. It is also very conveniently located. Overall, it's a good place for the price point. My only suggestion would be to change the Wi-Fi password to something easier to relay to guests/put on signs in the rooms.

Paid $300.00 for a $15.00 room.
This place needs a complete renovation. Beds are not comfortable. Bathroom has visible stuff on the walls that has run down them. Baseboard falling off, or completely gone. Toilet had a black ring around the bowl. Toilet got clogged, man was an hour away to fix it. Televisions are so small you could not watch a basketball game and see the score at the same time. Had to unplug lamps to plug in C-pap machines. Microwave didn't work. Had to wait 7-8 minutes, minimum, for water to warm enough to wash your hands, shower. Towels are ripped, very dingy. Hotel is severely outdated, but they charge exorbitant, up to date prices. Will never go back, and it appeared as if we were the only people there this weekend.
