Amazing stay, beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. We booked the hotel for a family trip to Snowdonia. We booked a larger room, which included two bedrooms and a Jack n Jill ensuite. The room was in the loft so very warm at night, we were provide with fans. Overall a lovely stay.

The house itself was beautiful. We booked a room for 3 persons as we had our 14 year daughter with us . The room was billed as superior double, big enough for 3. Sadly it just wasn’t. It was right in the loft , and they’d put up an extra bed which stuck out at the top and bottom which I kept tripping up over. And it wasn’t cheap and I’d have paid more to stay in a bigger room but this is the one offered for 3! There were also no useable mirrors in the room near a plug so you couldn’t blow dry your hair. The breakfast was continental but you’re not told this on booking the extra £30 a night ( despite the fact that they have a massive kitchen!) It’s not a cheap stay so you expect a bit more!

We unfortunately couldnt make our stay for our anniversary as my partner fell ill on the way to the hotel. Unfortunately as it was last minute we couldn't rebook or get a refund due to us not booking direct. We did call up though, and the staff were lovely on the phone, so we're gutted we couldnt make it, as if customer service were anything to go by, it was going to be a wonderful evening.

Very nice place and an excellent all round standard of accommodation. Beautiful location in Conwy valley and lovely surroundings. Helpful staff and great service. There were couple of niggles - the coffee machine not working and no shower gel in the dispenser. A bit more attention to detail would have made this a five star stay. Would definitely come back.

Me, my husband and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay at Caer Rhun hall. The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. There are some beautiful grounds around the property, our kids enjoyed running around in the massive field and playing with the swing. Breakfast is continental, not so many choices and you have to ask the staff for toast, butter or water but this is just a little cons. We will recommend this place to our friends and family.

Let down by footy smell
Lovely building .. room was very smelly but hotel full. Was foisty and Cleary aware but the diffuser and window open did not abate the smell. Told reception who just said yes. No apology or statement to say they would address it. Shame as the place was nice and breakfast excellent even with no kitchen as closed for refurb.

Inconvenient Stay
I am sure I have booked for a Superior Double or Twin Room. But they gave me the Economy Double on the loft with tiny windows. Because of my breathing problem, I needed a room with a big window and booked it properly via Hotels.com. I had checked the room picture before I booked. But I ended up with a small room on the second floor and very inconvenient during my stay. Not enough breakfast too. They asked the time for the breakfast and we said 9 AM. But when we go down there there are minimal choices, barely called a proper breakfast.

This place is gorgeous! The family room for four worked brilliantly. A king for us a twin sofa bed for our boys and plenty of room. The grounds are stunning. There's easy parking at the front of the house. A lovely breakfast, but there is no other catering. We brought a packed dinner and ate it in the gorgeous lounge and had drinks from the bar. The games room was a super place to while away some time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we generally got fantastic service. It's pricey, but worth every penny. It's very close to Bodnant Gardens and Conwy, both of which we visited.
