The front desk staff was exceptional. So helpful, kind & courteous. There were some areas of communication breakdown. I called for ice multiple days I was there and some days it didnt come at all. I had to call again. The last day I waited an hour and then just gave up after calling twice. I paid for breakfast at the club lounge for my stay. I thought the selection & quality was decent. It was 20 bucks per day. They ask for your room number when you sit down then give you the $0.00 check so you can add gratuity. When I checked out of the hotel I had gratuity added to my bill on a day I was not there and had to dispute the charge. The process feels a bit unorganized. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I loved the bed and the room layout. It also felt safe. A huge reason I would not stay here again and the main contributor is parking. The hotel says the parking is managed by a different company that they have no control over? It was around 22 bucks a day. There is plenty of parking and we are not in Miami. There is no reason to charge customers for parking. There are plenty of hotels in the area (one example-Hilton) that of course does not charge so I would stay somewhere else next time.
