Pros: It is sort of sweet and picturesque. The balcony is cute and there's a charm to an old-fashioned key. While we didn't partake of the full complimentary breakfast, the bit we tried was tasty.
Cons: First and foremost, I booked this room almost exclusively because of the notation that it had an airport shuttle. It absolutely has nothing of the sort. The bus station is a kilometer away and is, of course, an additional expense. This needs to be removed from the listing, as it is negligent at best and patently false advertising at worst.
We were a little later checking in due to our flight time. Because of this, there was no one at reception. Our room key was left in a little envelope with our name and room number. This is mildly terrifying, as anyone could have come by and swiped it. Someone did stop by the lobby after I rang the buzzer a couple times, but it seems like very strange policy for a hotel concierge.
The light in the bathroom was highly temperamental. If you didn't turn it on just so, it wouldn't turn on at all. The TV would not work whatsoever. We were only there for the night, so that's not too inconvenient, but I could see it being an issue over a longer stay. The curtains were a little sheer, which was a bit unsettling at night and not great in the morning.
Overall, this absolutely should not be called an "Airport Hotel." It is a scam naming device to lure unsuspecting visitors like myself into thinking it would be remotely convenient.
