Excellent hotel in an amazing location that can’t be beat. Everything is within walking distance. The colorful houses are less than a five minute walk away. There is a convenience store at the end of the block. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.
I don’t think the negative reviews are very fair/accurate. Not sure why the people leaving negative reviews booked a budget hotel but expected a five star hotel, should’ve booked something pricier instead if they were looking for Danish royalty treatment. Seems to be the type of people who just like to complain.
1. Yes, there are no TVs in the room, but if you’re visiting Denmark and your priority is watching TV, then that says more about you than the hotel.
2. The elevator does accommodate one person at a time but it’s quick so that wasn’t an issue. There was never a line waiting.
3. I didn’t think the walls were “thin” I never heard any other guests. Being in the heart of the city, obviously you’re going to hear cars/people on the street randomly but that’s normal. It wasn’t even loud or often that we did hear anything. If someone wanted a completely dead silent street, then they should’ve stayed in the suburbs.
