The lift was so small it could only accommodate one person. That’s fine since it’s not a particularly busy hotel so whenever I was with my suitcase, I could get to use the lift. The room was poorly maintained. One of the hinges of the bathroom door came loose and disconnected from the frame, making it impossible to close the door properly. The room was with minimum ventilation. The curtains also don’t come with a voile so in order to maintain privacy I had to draw the thick curtains all the time, making it even harder to let air in. I understand it’s not a luxurious hotel but they could have done better to at least maintain the basics.

The location is amazing, right next to the canals. The WiFi irarely worked in my room. This accomplished what I needed as far as a place to stay, but this is far from luxurious.

Spent one night here. Shower had an old curtain that stuck to your body, and there was no soap container and the shampoo bottle was almost empty. There was no phone in the room to contact hotel staff, no tissues, no safe, no fridge, no glasses, no kettle. Bed was rudimentary and the sheets had a small brown/red stain and slipped off while sleeping. Room was quiet and we felt safe.

The staff were courteous but they are strict about check in time. You can leave luggage with them before check in time. The hotel doesn’t have a 24 he reception staff. While checking out I accidentally locked myself out of the hotel while taking my luggage down to the roadside. It was a hassle to call staff on call to give me the code to open the lockbox to get the key to open the main door. Good thing a passerby helped me and he was able to talk to the on call staff in Danish. Otherwise the hotel was excellent!

Loved the staff. They were kind, sociable, and extremely helpful for the most part. Loved the brunch. Chia buns hot and steamy. Perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs. Creamy, crunchy, sweet yogurt and granola mix. Plus more! Loved the location. Close to the canal for an evening walk. Close to Holberg 19 which was an amazing brunch and drinks cafe. Close to metro and walking/shopping streets.

The staff are great, very helpful when needed. Rooms are tiny but its just a place to sleep! Super convenient to Nyhaven. Sophia was a gracious and helpful staff.

The location of this hotel in Nyhavn is great with easy access to restaurants and amenities. The hotel itself is well presented in reception, but the rooms are not so nice. Our room was very small and incredibly hot, the shower also smelt, possibly due to a damp shower curtain that ideally needs replacing. No housekeeping for the three nights so no fresh towels or bins emptied.

My 30 year old son stayed in this room. His only complaint was that the wall were so thin he heard the guy in the next room snoring. I find black walls depressing but the younger people staying there did not care

Walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Right next to NyHavn. Decent breakfast. Elegant decor. Unfortunately we didn't get soap for the shower, when requested were given handsoap; and the elevator wasn't working either. But overall a good stay.

Nice property overall went in July it was really warm and unfortunately there is no A/C…no TV or refrigerator either…basic room but staff and property is near everything…housekeeping didn’t enter the room once the week I was there not sure if it’s danish thing or just the property?
