Hidden Forest Lake House on George's Lake

Relax with friends or the whole family at our Peaceful Lakeside Cabin. Nestled in the woods on Beaver Pond Road, The Lake House is located 25 minutes West of Corner Brook, 35 minutes from Marble Mountain, approx 2 hours east of the PAB Ferry & a Short Snowmobile Ride from hundreds of kilometers of Snowmobile Trails.
If you don't feel like exploring, no problem, kick back & relax with a good book by the woodstove or enjoy the view! Our Cabin has two bedrooms, One Queen bed and One Double, A full Size Bathroom and Kitchen.

The lake house was built some 30 odd years ago and has undergone many upgrades in recent years! We have modernized the main living space and kitchen as well as bathroom, bedrooms, and exterior. Some of our favorite quirks still remain, such as the original cupboards and wood paneling. The house features an open concept kitchen and living space, an updated bathroom, two bedrooms, and access to the washer and dryer. It is bright and cozy with 5 big windows lake side. In the summertime, guests have access to the wrap around patio & and year-round access to the BBQ & Lake. Wifi & Netflix is included as well as complimentary coffee and tea for all guests.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Netflix and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access.

Quiet and relaxing
This is a great place to relax. Very quiet with an amazing view. Loved that it was pet friendly, our doodle settled right in and enjoyed the treats Erica had on hand. We also enjoyed our treat, a lovely bottle of wine. Beds were very comfy, as was the big sofa. Would def stay here again.

Our stay was perfect! Erica communicated with us the whole time and responded very quickly. The cabin was so clean and well decorated with everything we needed to make meals. I would recommend to anyone needing a weekend away or visitIngs from out of town. I came to this lake as a kid and have family on the lake so it was really nice to come back.

The property is actually nicer than the photographs depict. The owner has thought of just about everything for a family with a dog. The location is idyllic. The cottage is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. One of the better VRBOs I have rented in my twenty years of renting from the site. Renters should note the road to the cottage is not paved, so drive slowly.

Quiet beautiful getaway
The cabin is beautiful and cozy. My wife, daughter, two golden retrievers and I stayed here for 4 days and it had everything we could ever want. Perfect for the dogs with tons of privacy we would go back here for sure. The one and only negative someone may find is that it's a 25 minute drive from corner Brook or the nearest store. That didn't bother us though it was quiet and beautiful. Moose in the yard one morning it was perfect

It was a beautiful spot quiet right the lake clean perfect for vacation but if I went to do stuff in corner brook I wouldn’t stay there. Be more then happy to stay there on a vacation and the Road wasn’t very good it guess it was do to the time of year.
