You can hear your neighbors turn on and off they’re water, flush they’re toilets, the tv made a god awful loud screeching sound, the bathroom door squeeked every time it was open and closed which was quite annoying in the middle of the night and the pillows were not comfortable. ALL for a mere $150 😳. Too expensive for what you have to put up with.

The staff was very nice. Property is not well taken care of. Everything outside needs power washing, pool was green, had to leave bathroom light on overnight to keep the bugs from coming out. Smoke detector was wrapped in plastic. Remote control was covered with a sticky substance.

The breakfast left something to be desired. I had to clean the filter on the air conditioner as it was extremely dirty and caked. The toilet and room 113 did nothing but run because the float was broken. No bugs, comfortable bed, decent arrangements for the price.

Neither lamp in the room worked properly. One lamp didn’t work at all, the other you had to screw and unscrew. We overlooked that since we were too tired from traveling. The real issue was the smoke detector that went off at 2:30 in the morning, it wasn’t super ear piercing loud but enough to wake up the kids up. The issue was finding it. It was not mounted to the ceiling. I found it shoved in the back corner of a shelf. This is a huge safety issue, NO working smoke detector!!!!!! When I told the front desk person our issues he told me I needed to plug in the lights to work. Do you not think we tried that, he was sure that was the issue and just blew it off. Then I told him my main concern and didn’t care at all and didn’t even address it. Basically just blew me off. Needless to say I was very upset, me and my husband were traveling with 2 grandchildren. No working smoke detector that someone just shoved away on a shelf. Very disappointed in the front counter person in how it was handled. I would be surprised if the smoke detector got replaced.

We went with Super 8 motel because they usually have pools. We were a little apprehensive about the pool because it was outside. But once we got closer we realized it was just fine. There were plenty of food options close by. We went to the food vendor, the food was worth the money! The room was so comfortable and clean. There was also plenty of room to move around. We usually get in each other’s way…and there are only 4 of us.
