Indeed, it has been deeply loved by three generations of our family for fifty years! With enough room to accommodate up to 6 guests throughout 1,300 square feet of inviting living space, our rustic home is the perfect size and layout for families, friends or couples looking to explore all this area has to offer. Originally an old horse barn, the converted property now boasts an appealing mix of antique décor, fine artwork and modern-day appliances. We hope you will love our house as much as we do:-)

Shop at nearby Edgewater Farm Stand in Plainfield and select from an astounding array of organic vegetables to cook up. When you return home from your ventures, unwind and relax while listening to music on the surround-sound system, streaming movies on the Roku player, or curl up by the handsome fireplace with a new read. Have dinner out on the screened porch, and afterwards sip a warm beverage in the cool breeze before retiring to one of the welcoming bedrooms for a peaceful night’s sleep.
While you may consider spending the duration of your getaway lounging inside our comfortable and cozy home, you won’t have to travel far to experience authentic New England life. Just steps from the property, explore the Blow Me Down Covered Bridge, or climb down and wade into the brook for some adventuresome rock hopping. During your stay, be sure to pay a visit to St. Gaudens National Historic Site for a variety of wonderful outdoor concerts and events and learn about Cornish’s history as an art colony. Drive just a few miles down the road to cross the famous Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge spanning the Connecticut River, but be sure to walk your horses or pay 2 dollars fine!
