Location location. The Hotel is located right in the centre of Ottawa downtown. My room has a fantastic view of Ottawa Lock's (the northern entrance of the historic Rideau Canal), Parliament Hill, National Gallery of Museum. They are all in the walking distance.

Overall we had a good stay - it was very hot when we were there & had to switch rooms because the AC wasn’t working well - the 2nd room wasn’t much better. A lot of history here & beautiful hotel

Beautiful, classic railway hotel - unique and excellent swimming pool. Comfy beds! Two downsides - parking was full so had to go the National Arts Centre instead, which isn't too far but is also inconvenient and a waste of time; also breakfast not included and room service crazy expensive!!! Like over $30 for mac & cheese!
