great hotel for a short break with the dog
The staff at check in were very efficient and helpful with a friendly welcome. Our dog had lots of walks nearby as well as within the hotel grounds. The staff at breakfast could not have been more helpful. This is the type of hotel that you would want to return to and look forward to doing so.,

Beautiful period property with amazing views over countryside to Cardiff. Staff were so helpful and happy in their work. the level of service was excellent and friendly Breakfast was a feast for champions

Lovely stay.
Lovely stay overall. This hotel has alot of character and is set above Cardiff with lovely views down to the bay. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the hotel was clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Overnight stay
We tried the hotel for a overnight stay as our daughter is getting married here in August and again we were blown our. From the time we arrived and were checked in by a lovely gentleman Evan until the time we left the staff were so polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us.. We spoke to Emily the wedding planner who as always was lovely. Everything was perfect and the breakfast fantastic

Beautiful rooms and great staff
Fantastic hotel, the staff were so friendly and accomodating. They couldn't do enough for us, and we're particularly greatful for arranging a pot of tea at midnight, much appreciated after a very long day at a wedding. The "standard" rooms are huge, really comfy beds and even had our own balcony - can't imagine how a suite could top that! We would definitely stay again.
