The harbour view we paid for ended up being construction through a broken, foggy window. The walk to the harbour was hampered due to the construction. We would have chosen a different hotel has we known. The construction noise did not stop throughout the night.

The construction going on outside the property is huge and has a large effect on your stay. You can’t leave out the front door and have to walk a long distance to get out of the building. Definitely wouldn’t be accessible for those with disabilities. This should have been disclosed before the stay. Or a cheaper rate due to the inconvenience.

The room was dirty and areas such as ledges and windows hadn’t been cleaned in a while judging by the dirt on them. The carpet was ripped in many places. Overall a poor experience for the price paid.

There was construction but we were not bothered by it where we were staying. Room was dated but clean. We really enjoyed being put in the area where we could walk out into the common pool Terrace. It was nice for our group to enjoy the sun and have that space. They only service the room on a schedule, but I asked for an extra service during our stay and were quick to provide. Appreciated that immensely! The pedestrian detours were easy to understand. Thanks for the fun stay in downtown Halifax!

This property is in an ideal location in downtown Halifax - you can walk everywhere. It is an older building but has comfortable beds. The pool was great.
