Rooms out dated, wallpaper seams separated, elevators very poor condition and slow! Over all needs to be upgraded
As of oct 2024 just a huge construction zone. Bar/grill is good but drinks are expensive and it closes wierd hours. 30$ parking for the night. Could stay somewhere else get a uber downtown and back.for less then the parking .and get a place where hot breakfest is included. If you need to be downtown great i guess but if your just looking for a place to stay. Get a hotel in bayers lake.
Aside from the construction the hotel is located in a great part of Halifax. It is close to dining, entertainment and the waterfront.

You have to pay for parking. It was $23 for one night. I wish I knew this ahead of time I wouldn’t have picked this hotel. Parking should always be included.
Need renovations and the staff to cheer up a bit. And please allow me access to just walk up one flight of stairs instead of waiting for that slow elevator. Pool was nice and big though and the bed was comfy. Not sure though how you can call that a balcony on my room. The chair can barely fit on it. With a weird step that just takes up room and has no purpose. But the location was perfect besides some outside construction. Please renovate the hotel a bit and it would greatly help and possibly cheer up the staff.
Hotel in a good location to waterfront, restaurants, bars and some shopping despite construction.Walking distance to every place we wanted to go. Hotel is clean but dated.

Had a room on the 6th floor. Wall paper was peeling off the walls, hugh stain on the sofa and smelled of some kind of perfume. Maybe some type of cleaning product, i dont know. It was very strong.
Not only a lot of road construction, but there was construction at the hotel. Normally would not have bothered me but I had surgery at the QE11 and was recuperating in the room for 48 hours and the noise got me up at 8 am in the morning

It is not the hotel's fault that there is horrific construction going on. But they could provide clear instructions on parking and how to access the sky walk to get around the construction. The signage is awful and it is hard to figure out where to park.

Paid for a harbour view room and got a view of a construction site instead. Room renovation directly across the hall had us awake at 8am each morning. We were greeted with short black hairs in our bathtub. Lastly the breakfast buffet is $21 per person which is outrageous. Staff were very nice tho.
