The Space:
This is a super fun property to start your Crested Butte adventures! You have it all at this cozy property. Designed like a "Surf Shack" in the mountains with all the bonuses of good living. Ride out your door to catch some of your favorite trails or hop on the shuttle to the base area to try your expertise at the infamous skiing/riding on Mt. Crested Butte in the winter.
This property is a typical mountain house with upside down living. The living area/kitchen and dining is on the top floor to capitalize on the views. The kitchen is fully equipped and looks into the living area so the chef doesn't miss out on the fun. The dining nook is more than adequate for a party of 6 and the living room hosts a large tv and gas fireplace to warm up after a long day on the slopes.
On the entry floor you will find 2 bedrooms and a shared bath with a tub/shower combo. The first bedroom is set up with a twin bunk bed and the 2nd is set up with a queen bed.
Downstairs is the primary suite with a king bed, beautifully renovated bathroom with a shower and the laundry area.
You have access to a 1 car garage to park 1 vehicle and your gear. There is an EV charging port in the garage. The house has 2 parking spaces (1 of which is the garage space) and the other is the driveway. No other parking is available and on-street parking is not allowed in the Pitchfork neighborhood. RV's and trailers of any kind are not allowed. Please note that the owner does have motion triggered outdoor cameras for security purposes at each exterior door that face to the outside only.
No pets or smoking are allowed on the property and renters must be 25 years or older to rent from us. Children with their parent or guardian are always welcome.

Parking and Vehicles. Parking of vehicles on a Lot is permitted only within Garages or designated parking spaces, except that vehicles may be parked temporarily in other areas as an expedience while loading and unloading. Personal property storage in each Garage shall be limited so as to enable the intended number of motor vehicles to be stored in each such Garage. No Persons shall park any vehicles on Outlot A, designated on the Plat, except Owners and Permitted Users of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10. (4.6)
The following are absolutely prohibited from within the Common Interest Community and shall not be parked or stored on any street or Lot or in a Garage: Motor homes, recreational vehicles, and campers except a camper mounted on a pickup; All terrain vehicles (ATVs); Trailers of any kind; Snowmobiles; Boats, except kayaks and inflatable rafts, which shall be stored inside or outside in the rear of the Lot if such storage is neat and not visible from any street; Abandoned or inoperable vehicles of any kind. An abandoned or inoperable vehicle shall mean any vehicle which is not capable of being driven under its own propulsion or does not have current registration. (4.7) An illegally parked vehicle is subject to towing and impounding in accordance with Town ordinances. Such action may be initiated by any Owner, resident or lessee without prior notice. Parking is expressly prohibited on any grass or landscaped area. Each parking space shall be maintained in a clean, safe and attractive condition and shall be kept free from litter and debris. No gasoline, gasohol, distillate, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, or other similar volatile combustible or explosive materials shall be stored in any parking area except in the fuel tanks of vehicles parked therein and used for transportation purposes. Owners, residents and lessees shall abide by all traffic laws within Pitchfork.

The Neighborhood:
The Pitchfork neighborhood is a nice mix of local and 2nd homeowners. There is a shuttle stop at the turnaround as you pull into the area and easily gotten to on foot from anywhere in the subdivision.
Getting Around:
Use the free shuttle that stops at the turnaround just as you enter Pitchfork to catch the free bus to the base area. From there you can catch another shuttle to the town of Crested Butte.
