Sunset Spa Villa has undergone a transformation and been recently tastefully decorated. The feel of the house is modern, yet relaxed, cosy and intimate.
Sit on the deck and watch the rest of the family or friends play cricket, taking in a stunning sunset across Curley’s Bay, toward Coolangatta mountain while you are sipping your favourite tipple.
The 180 degree view with a NNW aspect ensures that the house is kept warm on sunny winter days and not too hot in the summers.
200m flat walk away from Woolies and all the local shops, your morning caffeine fix only 200m away!
If the evening is a bit chilly, Take a warm bath in the spa bath for romance or just to feel good. Just ask us to turn the heating on for $35-$50 per day depending on how hot you would like it. Then keep up the warmth in front of the open fire in the living room. With a 900m flat walk to the beach, that’s an easy stroll , and if the active ones have got enough of sun for the day, play some table tennis in the rumpus.
Horizons has 4 large bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets, one of the bathrooms has a spa bath with separate walk-in shower. The large kitchen comes fully equipped ,separate laundry, three separate living areas to make sure you are not tripping over each other. The large day room overlooking the view is warmed in winter and cool in summer, the dining room adjoins the kitchen and has the log-fire, there is a large TV room with a Smart TV if you have played too much monopoly in the evenings. Wifi access is included. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and TV room, and Air-condition in the main living area.
The dinner table easily seats 8 people and so does the outdoor ding area. A four burner BBQ on the deck lends itself enjoyable outdoor cooking taking in the views. We have chosen to not have any fences in the garden to be able to enjoy the views and the openness you rarely find in a town.
What else to do if you have to leave the house and garden...
Culburra has two surf beaches, Warrain and Culburra Beach. Warrain is patrolled by the local SLSC club year round. Culburra Beach is patrolled at peak times through the summer only. Beaches are dog friendly so if you’re bringing your best friend check out days and times when dogs are allowed on the beaches.
At the Wollumboola Lake you will find plenty of good fishing spots and places to launch your boat. and while you're there see if you can spot the gorgeous black swans during certain times of the year.
As mentioned Culburra's local shops are just 200m from the house and there is everything you will need here. This includes a new and large Woolworths supermarket, a BWS, great cafe's, bakery, pharmacy and newsagents. For some pampering there is a nail salon and a Bellissima Day Spa as well as a local Establish gym.
For dining there are plenty of options with the Culbarra Bowling Club offering pizza, Chinese and local fare, for good measure there is also a Chinese restaurant and a pizzeria in the town, both great options for take-away in front of the TV! Or for something a little more fancy try Little Snapper just 100m up the road, no need to drive!
There are lots of mountain bike trails and walks to take in the fresh air or stroll along the long stretch of beaches. Also, visit the lighthouse at Crookhaven heads about a 15 mins walk each way. You might be lucky enough to spot some seals, dolphins or even whales.
Take a short-drive to enjoy a lovely dinner at the renowned Butter Factory restaurant, or on the way down don’t forget to stop at the JindyAndy Mill to treat the kids at the lolly shop and get your holiday off to the right start!
Only 2-3 hours from Sydney, 15 min from Nowra and 30 minutes from the world-renowned Berry, Kangaroo Valley and Jervis Bay areas. Take a drive to local areas such as Callala Bay and Callala Beach, Currawong and Huskisson to see more of what the beautiful south coast has to offer
There is plenty to do if you seek it out or just sit back and relax and enjoy the view!...
