The whole experience at this hotel was wonderful, from check-in to departure. The landscape is beautiful, the staff were amazing and the room we had was more like a full sized flat! Also spent a day by the heated pool which was lovely. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed for 2 wonderful days. The resort is a step back in time to the way hotels used to be. Stunning rooms and decor. The restaurant is superb with a comprehensive breakfast. Beautiful gem of a hotel. Staff go above and beyond, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, food is delicious. You have the best of both worlds with the nature getaway feeling in the resort and then just being minutes away from the city centre. Wish I had more time to stay here!

Room was beautiful and very big but it was slightly dirty in a few areas and is becoming a little tired and could really do with a lick of paint. The noise from the people upstairs can become a bit of a pain and I would guess light sleepers would have a genuine issue with the reoccurring sound of chairs scraping across the floor and the sound of footsteps pacing back and forth every day. The fact that we were only staying for 4 nights and were up early pretty much every day meant it was not really a problem for us. Beautiful location, amazing staff, fantastic food on all levels. Would defo recommend to others
