When checking in with my husband and kids we were told that any children over the age of 13 were charged as adults. I booked through Travelocity and had to enter the ages of my kids when searching for a room. While we weren’t charged for them as adults, I do have to question that if they cannot “rent a room” according to this property’s policy until they are 18 and a legal adult, why would they be charged as such. Other than that the rooms are clean, great water pressure and heat in the shower. The trains are not as loud as I would have expected from other reviews, and the office does offer free ear plugs.

Rooms are clean and spacious and that is the best thing I can say about this property. Had problems with the room keys not working but the worst part is the noise. The road noise from the constant flow of trucks is bad enough but add in the trains blowing their horns all night and sleep is very hard to come by. There are earplugs available at the front desk but they are useless when it comes to the trains. Bring everything with you if you plan on stopping in this little town because there is nothing available after dark.

The Best Western is surrounded with train and semi-truckers The train comes with a horn at all hours of the day the truckers are heavy duty semi they are coming from hwy 54 to hwy 87 either directions It was not a relaxing place to sleep

It’s been updated and feels clean! The area has a lot of flies as it’s a cattle area, but there’s a fly swatter in the room which was convenient. Other reviews complain about the noise from the road and trains, but we didn’t notice anything. It was comfortable, convenient, clean and a perfect price!

There is too much noise from the train and other vehicles passing by. Four flies are in our bedrooms. The laundry area and ice maker need some updates.
