One of the worst things that I didn't like and for which I would not go back was the first, the parking, they sell you a parking space for each car you bring, it is assumed that if you are a guest they should give you one for free and not go out a kilometer away to look for cheaper ones, the second is that even if you make your reservation and have already paid everything, you arrive at the hotel and they ask for a deposit, things that they never tell you until you are already there and you have to pay obviously because you need a place to stay and they give it back to you in days! I will not go back there, if they are going to charge you a deposit, they should let you know as soon as you pay.

The showerhead should have been cleaned, toilet paper was not changed, the complimentary wifi was unavailable, the tv would cut in and out, and there was no ironing board. The only thing that was good about the room was the view of downtown. I was quite let down.

This was a great experience to stay in downtown Dallas and enjoy all the culture there has to offer. The building is historical and it was really neat to learn about the history. The best place to park is down the street at the Parking Garage. I did not know it was going to cost so much to Valet Park. If you like to walk and go explore it was worth it.

The hotel appears to be undercapitalized and understaffed. I will not be staying there again. The staff was professional and pleasant but did not remedy issues. I do not blame the staff. I blame management. I stayed two nights. Three issues: When I showered the first morning, the water in backed up steadily. I would stop and let it drain. I informed the front desk about this directly after my shower and again that night. Nothing was done. Directly after arriving, I attempted to connect to WiFi. It was absent on my floor. I called down and was told that it was being fixed with no ETA. WiFi never worked on my floor during my stay. On my cell, I had one bar on a high floor and that was not enough for my work. I went down to the lounge on the second floor when I needed it. On the second day, the lounge WiFi was down and I had to tether to my cell; full bars on the second floor. On the first night, I noticed that the iron was dirty; brown sticky gunk that I could not burn off. I requested a new one because I really needed to iron two shirts. I walked the iron down to the front desk the second day and they said they would send housekeeping with one. When I checked out the same iron was still in the room. I destroyed a handkerchief to protect my shirts.

No WiFi. While traveling for a work conference I stayed at the Magnolia. The property had no wifi for my entire week stay making completing work while there impossible. When I requested assistance in the matter they said they would get back to me, multiple asks, no response. The hotel was very clean in the entry but the rooms were just average. Housekeeping missed a few days of my stay as well. The TV was old and difficult to operate. The one great thing is there is a local coffee shop next-door and the coffee was amazing.

Decent for the price.
Decent hotel for the price, but very annoying that there’s no internet in the bedrooms. My room was nice and spacious, but the bed wasn’t super comfortable. The location is great and staff very friendly. For the price, I’m not going to complain too much, the lack of internet wasn’t great during a work trip.

Downtown Hotel
Hotel and Staff is Great! Parking the nightmare as it’s downtown and valet at hotel will cost ya quite a bit and only other option is to try and find the hidden garage parking lots. Full of homeless on the street especially at night as they sleep in the park across the street. No bar or restaurant but plenty within walking distance. The Staff do everything to make your stay comfortable.

This hotel was in a great location but the cleanliness was poor. We also did not have wifi the entire stay or properly functioning ac in our room. When we asked on several occasions we were informed the manager would be notified but never heard anything about it. When we checked into the room it smelled like urine. There was a stain in the sheets on the bed and a very tattered bath mat. There was a vent in the bathroom where you could see the infrastructure of the building. Occasionally the light would be on or off up there. The sink backed up the last night we were there and while the front desk was helpful there was nothing to be done. The saving glory to this hotel was the valet guys. They were well mannered, kind, and helpful. As I said the staff and valet were nice but the quality of the stay was no good.
