Lovely staff at reception and at breakfast. Adequate twin room. Pool was nice, although highly chlorinated and my daughter could only use for restricted hours ever it was full of other children messing about, so she couldn't swim lengths - why can't a decent teen swimmer do laps with adults? Excellent value for money. Would recommend.

All the staff we came across were lovely and friendly. Bedroom was comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean and practical. We made use of the swimming pool which was great!

Great hotel for a private function, food was good
The hotel did extremely well for the private family function we attended with a Sunday lunch, the service & food was good. The bedroom was too hot, but there was a fan in the wardrobe if you wanted it. Breakfast wasn't great for me, as I wouldn't eat a full English. I only had toast & awful coffee, as there was no milk for the coffee machine. There was limited fruit, no yogurts, pancakes or pastries only croissants. The pool area was stifling and water temperature was too hot.

Have stayed here in the past. Wasn’t overly impressed by the food. Pasta rigatoni. £16 wasn’t great. Pudding was delicious though. Room very warm but it was July and there’s no ac. Would stay here again but would be lovely to have a cooler nights sleep

No sleep
No sleep as drunken couple next door were talking loud, singing and playing radio till 3am. Asked them 3 times to keep it down, which worked for 5 mins. Don't think it helps as function rooms on site.

Lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Room was quite large and comfortable. Hotel very clean. Breakfast had plenty of choices (although ordered poached egg and it was very undercooked) extremely busy so didn’t bother to complain.

Lovely welcome at the property.. reception staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and tidy and well worth the money. Service in the bar and restaurant were really good. The food at night was nice and the breakfast had a really good choice and all fresh. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend 👌 👍

We asked to be moved as the room next door was noisy during the night but was told the occupants were leaving that day. We therefore stayed in the room. The next night was even worse and we were told when we complained the next morning that it unfortunately been occupied by lads on a stag night. The sound on the tv also didn't work and we were told it would fix itself in approx 20minutes. It never did for the whole weekend.

Great stop over!
I booked this hotel for a 1 night stop over and it didnt disappoint! The staff are lovely, Naomi at the Health and Wellness centre was so helpful and kind, she even gave my son a certificate for his swimming in the pool qhich he was pretty happy with! The room was huge, clean and the beds were super comfy. There was some water damage to the door frame in the bathroom and a few minor cosmetic maintenance issues here and there but overall this is a great hotel and we would visit again.
