Dirty towels, dirty desk in the room and the bathroom was not super clean. There were lots of men smoking outside of the entrances to the hallways. Television did not work, nightstand light flickered on and off. Property beyond the check in area felt run down. Very different than the reviews I read.

Good breakfast. Close enough to Red Rocks and the mountain side of Denver. For a few nights of adventure its a good place to sleep and take a shower.

This wasn't a bad choice. The hotel is a bit dated in the rooms and hallways but the breakfast room was very nice. It was one of the better hotel breakfasts I have had. They had premade waffles, lots of hot fruit toppings for the waffles, bacon, canadian bacon, eggs, and lots of fresh fruit. Blueberries, strawberries, etc. It was annoying the spa/hot tub doesn't open until 9 am. We were too tired to sit in there the night we checked in but really wanted to sit in there that morning. We asked for them to open it and they said it was broke. I said there were people sitting in it last night. She then said well it doesn't open until 9am. I said that was too bad because we would be on the road by then.

Had to change rooms twice, as the first two didn't have hot water and in one of those, the phone didn't work. Rooms were clean but hallways and elevator were dirty. Key cards to get into building didn't work well and had to be changed on second day. Only one roll of toilet paper in room. Lighting in room not great and kept room pretty dark at night.

Check in was good. We saw how close the property was to I70 and asked for a room away from the heavy traffic. The desk clerk happily helped us. The room unfortunately had a badly stained carpet, torn lampshade, stained window coverings, inoperable coffee machine, and a stale smell. The exterior of the property is well kept. The room we occupied definitely needed attention. I am giving a 2 star rating due to the helpful desk clerk. Otherwise I would rate it 1 star.

Great place to stay to enjoy exploring Denver and the surrounding areas! Pretty close to everything! If you want an economical place to stay this is it. Nothing fancy, but comfortable for lodging if you plan to spend most of your time out and about!
