Glenlyon Lodge is the result of providing exceptional privacy for people wishing to explore the beautiful country landscape of this property and getting a real taste of county farm lifestyle. With only a few minutes’ drive to the Glenlyon General Store there is so much to see and do. The Spa Centre of Victoria; Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are only a short ten-minute drive; on offer are a mecca of different things to do such as wineries, trail rides, farmers markets, restaurants and of course eclectic shopping. This is a fully operational farm with Australian white sheep, 2 Bee hives and trout farm.
We can comfortably accommodate 2 families and up to a maximum of 12 people with current bedding arrangements. This property is an escape like no other if you are looking for privacy set on picturesque 20 acres with a home that is secluded from the hustle and bustle. The home is the centrepiece to the property with views of the rolling countryside with breathtaking and sedating views from every room. The main bedroom is a beautiful space accompanied by a sandstone ensuite perfect for long soaks in the bath as you gaze out to your private slice of the countryside. You will have the entire home to enjoy which includes 4 bedrooms and an upstairs guest room with an additional comfort of a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with an open plan living area where you can sit back and relax on a large sofa while watching TV with Netflix. An emphasis on the mindful use of our natural resource is appreciated as the water is collected directly from the rain and stored in a water tank. The wood provided for the fire is grown and cut here by a woodman, collected and stacked by me and the biocycle septic waste water encompasses the sustainable lifestyle we seek to provide in this beautiful country setting.
