The man that checked me in was super nice. We stayed their for the weekend due to my wedding and and he was so nice congratulated us on our wedding and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Thank u

this hotel has been advertising a hot tub for over a year and it has been broken down and closed. this is the second time I've stayed here thinking I was getting a hot tub for the price and didn't. very disappointed

Disappointed wife!
Wife was highly disappointed! Booked the room there because it had a hot tub. Upon arrival we discovered the hot tub was out of service. Booked the room for 4 guest 2 adults and 2 kids. Was charged an extra $25 at the time of check in because my oldest kid was above the age of 12. I've never had that happen to me before.

I accidentally booked the wrong location which I’m not sure how it happened since I was searching hotels in Ames. Hotels.com could not get a refund and I was charged over $220 dollars for this hotel even though I still booked at AmericInn in the correct city. Very upset.

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel while we were visiting for a wedding. We came into town a few days early and enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff is very friendly, accommodating, quick to provide service, and so hospitable! While we stayed here we ate breakfast every morning, we took a swim in the pool and tried the sauna, and we also used the workout equipment! The room was spacious and clean. The mattress was comfortable and the sheets were soft. The location was perfect for where the wedding was, but it was also convenient getting around to other food places and shops in the area!

Was upgraded to room that had a new mattress so that was good. Everything is very outdated, and the cleanliness was okay. Would not recommend or will not be staying again.

The hotel needs updated. The hot tub was not working and after reading other reviews, hadn't been working for months. The lobby furniture was worn out. The business center was being used as storage. The mattresses were rather old and also worn out. It was the cheapest hotel, but for the condition, not cheap enough.
