I was told house keeping was not performed in my room because new guest rooms needed to be ready and the Hyatt was completely booked for the weekend. I pay everyday for housekeeping to clean the room, news towels, and made bed. Playing full rate to not get this service is unacceptable. It makes it extremely difficult on me being totally and permanently disabled as well as being exhausted at the end of the day to have to perform the tasks I hired Hyatt to perform for me. Being told nothing could be done because I used Expedia makes me no longer want to use Hyatt or Expedia. Hyatt years ago had given authority to each team member $1000 /day to make guest experiences perfect. By far this is my absolute worst experience at a Hyatt. Without making this right this will be my story to tell.
There was only one working bathroom in the lobby.
The breakfast area was dirty and undersupplied.
The staff working breakfast was clearly overwhelmed which lead to subpar food as it was either cold or out.
Breakfast equipment not working.
Wonderful hotel except for the elevator. Why would only one elevator work when there were 4! Sunday morning was a nightmare trying to leave! For that reason I’m not sure I would stay here again and I plan to visit often because my grandson is at Drake
The hotel system and Expedia specifically weren't communicating so it took a while to find our reservation and get us into there system to give us a room
