Serene Country Living on 10 Acres in the Mountains Outside of San Diego

Welcome to the guest cabin which is situated on 9.5 acres of grounds across of Cleveland National Forest, where there is ample hiking, horse back riding, a rural store and a restaurant.  Right off the Sunshine Highway to the mining town of Julian and Mt Laguna.

Only 45 minutes to downtown San Diego, nestled in the scrub oak and pine of the National Forest, this is a quiet lovely retreat to enjoy the country life, and yet close enough to all amenities and attractions San Diego has to offer. Enjoy the grounds with various "lands" to explore, or voyage to the many beautiful outdoor lakes, and parks nearby.  Viejas Premium Outlet mall, Native American Reservation, Casino and 4 star resort is just 10 minutes away.

Hidden romantic gem
Cozy romantic hideaway. Lots of privacy. Wonderful grounds to walk and explore and had the pleasure of 2 fat cute friendly orange cats and a sweet old dog to accompany us.

Charming Guest House
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely guest house in the hills of Descanso. It is peaceful and serene here. The guest house is a very large studio and feels spacious and relaxing, with ample room. The host's pets wander the grounds and are both adorable and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

Would recommend highly if your looking for a quite and peaceful stay. Studio very clean and lots of space! Outside sitting areas could have been a bit cleaner but being outside and Santa Anna winds to be expected. Lovely area for the amount paid.
