Our stay was a terrible experience for my family and me. We were there for two nights, and from the very first night, we encountered major problems. The bathroom flooded due to plumbing issues, so we requested a room change for hygienic reasons, which was granted. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The new room reeked of smoke, making it unbearable, but we were too exhausted to ask for another switch late at night. We tried to sleep despite the smell and woke up to the same overwhelming odor the next morning. When we asked for another room, our request was denied. As the day went on, we noticed bumps on our skin, which became more prominent after we checked out and realized they were bed bug bites. We suspect the smoke smell was from bed bug repellent. Allowing us to stay in a room with such chemicals for two nights shows poor customer service and concern for guests' well-being. I would not recommend staying at this location, and this experience has certainly discouraged us from ever considering a Holiday Inn again.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean but there was a leak in the room above us so our bathroom was underwater and unusable. We had to walk down the hall to the public restroom and mop up our bathroom and place trash cans under the leak. They stopped the leak as soon as they could and were apologetic. Also, the dining area was overcrowded for breakfast and it was a bit of a hike to parking.

Front desk assist was great. Extremely noisy hotel! The service in the back kitchen for breakfast was horrendous. The fire alarm kept going off, forcing the guests to leave their room and take the stairwell! The breakfast manager was the rudest human being ever! She flipped out, using very foul language. Manager had to intervene. I checked out of the hotel and stayed elsewhere! Never again in that place!!!

It's a very nice location, close to downtown Belleville with beautiful water views. The only faux pas was the main lobby washroom had no toilet paper. A critical item for any public washroom. Other then that, I would stay here again.

The room was not clean. Our shoes were sticking to the floor. The bathroom floor was dirty. I dropped a cap and it rolled under the bathroom counter and there was so much dirt and dust under it. That hadn't been cleaned for months. Also the sheet on the pullout bed was dirty when we pulled it out, so that wasn't changed from the previous person.
