Holy Amazeballs
This property was a highlight of my multiweek trip to Costa Rica. The road access to the property is quite adventurous, and you absolutely want a 4x4 to get here confidently... But wow. Once you get here. This. Is. The. Jungle. Palace! Only forest stay I did that was better in Costa Rica was Finca Exotica down in Corcovado. However, Cascada Elysiana is much closer to San Jose and Liberia airport - so that is an advantage! Take advantage of the breakfast and dinner! Do the hike to the private waterfall! And remember to take off your shoes before walking into the main building! If considering between booking this hotel and another nearby... As long as you have a 4x4 to get here, this is the one to choose without hesitation!

This place have a lot of potential, but nothing prepares you for anything. I've veen in orher places where a 4x4 car is required but until we get there e were nit aware of that. We carry our luggage 500 meters but 500 meters of mood and anaccesible road. There's no real checking the guy throw the keys at you and good luck finding your room. The trails to see the waterfall (the "highlight") was totally block by trees not even a small place tonsit when you get to the viewpoint. We were asked for dinner but we never confirmed. They charge the dinner at the check out. They not even check witg us during diner if we wanted to dine in the room. We pay for something we didnt ask for. Bed uncomfortable and at 9am it was already impossibke to be in the room the ceiling warm the room like an oven and the old fan didnt worked

Fantastic way to be in the natural beauty of Costa Rica! Beautiful place, great food, friendly people- relax in a hammock and listen to the jungle!

Staff was friendly and super willing to help. This place is a sanctuary in the middle of the tropical forest. All you need to live a happy life is in there.

Such a unique experience staying at cascada elysiana...the views are spectacular, the people are wonderful and the food is great! Other than being isolated in its location (which is part of the appeal) this is a wonderful quiet and comfortable hostel.

I had the most amazing stay at Cascada Elysiana. This was exactly the Costa Rica experience I was looking for. The waterfall on the property is absolutely spectacular! My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer due to my scheduled return flight...

absolut klasse. liebevolles und super freundliches Personal. man hat sich abaolut willkommen und wohl gefühlt. haben Ein Zelt gehabt, super Zustand, mit eigener Waschgelegenheit. Super toller Ort zum runterkommen. Sehr leckeres Essen. mitten um dschungel. Sehr Unweltbewusst,quasi selbstversorgend. absolut eine Buchubg Wert.

Endroit pas facile à trouver mais ça vaut vraiment le coup! Steve et Mak sont adorables, le lieu est splendide et bien aménagé. Et le petit déjeuner est délicieux ! Je recommande.
