We had an enjoyable time at our stay at La Torrelle. We were celebrating 18 years of marriage. We enjoy the king fireplace room.

The property is tired. Room was not what I expected for the price (musty smell, stain on bedding, peeling ceiling, rusted drain). I was told that they are updating the property in November which would be great.

Lovely property. Stayed there for a wedding at the adjacent campsite. Only complaint is that the walls are so thin we could hear everything that was said or done in the hallway which made it very hard to sleep.

It's different from the many cookie cutters chain hotels. It was a pleasure to just explore the grounds and see all the little details. The lawn chess set was also nice.

Balcony dirty. Old lawn chairs for seats. Ceiling of balcony in state of falling. Grounds need to be maintained better for a “luxury” hotel. Rooms clean and comfy but very old and are in need of updating.

It is a beautiful hotel with a lot of character. The spa is a plus. Not much of a gym though: Minimum space and equipment. The Bistro -the hotel restaurant- has a really very small menu for breakfast with only regular coffee. When we were there they even had run out of milk. Didn’t stay for breakfast. After that not tempted to try lunch/dinner.

My experience was extremely disappointing. The room was clean, but everything is very very old. The air conditioning heating unit did not function properly and the control panel from so many years of use was not visible and appeared that someone had use an ink pen to access controls, I had to request maintenance service, which seem to annoy the front desk… I think this hotel needs major renovation and probably some management training. The maintenance fellow was excellent.
