On-going off-season Sale: Book a full week for $1300 + fees or book any 3 nights and get the fourth free. (November through April only, no holiday dates)

Featured on HGTV's Lakefront Bargain Hunters, this beautifully renovated waterfront property is the perfect spot to decompress and get away from it all. The summer of 2018 will be it's 3rd year on the market, during which time it has housed many happy rental groups, including golf getaways for the dads, relaxing wine time for moms, and, most frequently, family getaways for the grandparents, kids and grand kids.

Feel the relaxation calm you each morning as you enjoy the view from inside the home where a sprawling wall of windows allows you to see the water from anywhere in the room or walk out to the large deck and become part of the scenery. Even the lake is calm in the morning offering a view like a watercolor painting with the trees and houses reflected in the water that is still and quiet.

The yard is a large, flat, grassy space that leads right up to the water where all can enjoy yard games (not included), the sandbox, relaxing by the fire, kayaking or paddle boating in the lake, or swimming or fishing off of the dock. The large shade trees make the yard enjoyable even in the hottest summer months. There is so much to do you'll never want to leave the property!

But, if you do, Treasure Lake offers so much more!
1. Head to the pool to enjoy swimming in the newly very large pool with a waterslide. While there you can get quick meals, snacks, or ice cream at Pirate's Cove or enjoy the outdoor poolside movie or the live music (music and movie are 1x/week during summer months only).
2. Check out the many beaches throughout the community: 2 on Treasure Lake and 1 on Bimini Lake.
3. Head over to Little Flipper lake (about 2 miles from the house) and enjoy waling on the nature trail around the small lake or fish in this smaller catch and release fishing pond.
4. All three lakes are stocked for the fisherman in your group too!
5. Have some golfers vacationing with you? Treasure Lake has two beautifully maintained golf courses, which both also have small restaurants at the clubhouse for everyone to meet up for a drink or a meal after golfing. Have a family putting contest on the putting green afterward!

This location also offers day-trip opportunities too! Elk Country is about a 45 minute drive away. Visit the visitor center and walk on the short walking paths with the family and enjoy the beautiful Pennsylvania Wilds scenery. The visitors' center is full of information on the Elk and the area where they roam. While there, enjoy a wagon ride around the property and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife while you ride. The horses that pull the wagon are gorgeous animals and all of the staff is very knowledgeable about the area. Before heading home, head over to Winslow Hill for more breathtaking views of the area and an even better chance to see the elk.

Cook Forest is also the perfect day trip for the family where there is something for everyone! Here you can enjoy hiking trails, horse back riding, and picturesque views of nature. http://www.cookforest.com/activities/hiking/index.cfm

Bilger's rocks - Bilger's Rocks is a super cool natural area in Clearfield County featuring sandstone formations and recreational areas, including caves, cliffs, passageways, climbing routes and more. Enjoy a haunted hay Ride Oct. 24-25. Hayrides begin at dusk on October 24 & 25 and cost $5 per person. (Friday: 6:30-10pm & Satuday: 6:30-Midnight)

Penn State: Penn State is just over an hour away. Come stay and enjoy a game or just a visit.

Downtown DuBois - There is also the town of Dubois to explore if you're looking for more restaurants, grocery stores, or basic shopping needs. Our family enjoyed eating at Luigis.

Want to take a night off of cooking? Head into town to Luigis. Located on a quaint street in downtown DuBois, Luigis a perfect place to take a night away with the family and enjoy an authentic, family owned Italian restaurant. You won't be disappointed! Papa Johns now delivers directly to the house if you want to opt for a pizza party instead.

Come enjoy the snow and ice fishing once the lake freezes or cozy up by the fire and watch the winter wonderland.

Extremely dirty house.
Don’t even bother your self with renting this house. House is extremely dirty . No any activities around fake lake in front of this house. It’s not a lake it’s a big swamp. Host is really un professional. No hot water when you go to take a shower. Second floor bathroom is not working at all. And if you contact them they will answer you after you live.

Beautiful home, near Du Bois
We had 14 people there with all ages and fit very comfortably. It was beautiful to look out to the snow covered lake. Hostess was great to respond to our needs and easy to work with. The driveway goes down a little hill which was hard to get up with the snow but we understood the guy who does the snow plowing was on Christmas vacation so should be fine in the future. We enjoyed our stay there. Shopping and bowling in Du Bois.

Women Friends Gathering
This spacious home is situated on the lake, with a wall of windows looking out on the lake. The comfortable furniture allows for gathering as well as peaceful time looking out on the beautiful scenery. Both floors have roomy living space. The ground floor fireplace was great. We moved the area rug and had plenty of room for a group yoga session! The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to navigate. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The owners give clear guidance on what is provided and what is not with a few exceptions (no reading lights (bring flashlights or a headlamp if you want to read in bed) and no top sheets). We would come back in a heart beat!

Nice place for family stay
We stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding in the area. Nice house in a gated community with plenty of space and accommodations. The house is nicely renovated, and like other reviews, the light switches were interesting. Once we figured them out, it was no problem. We used the kayaks and paddle boat on the lake, which was nice. It was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was cozy. There were some issues with most of the tv remotes not having batteries and there was no keurig (which is in the listing). The host responded to my texts, and had both delivered by the next morning, which was nice and my family appreciated because no one wants to deal with me un-caffeinated. Two things that were challenging for us that we didn’t pay attention to when we booked were that we had to bring our own towels, and the 10:00 am check out time. There are options to pay extra for towels, but we brought a bin (we were traveling 6+ hours to get here) so not necessarily a knock against the host, but for me personally it’s always more convenient to have all linens provided when renting a VRBO. The 10:00am check out was tough because it was hard to get everyone up and out the door on time after a wedding the night before. Again, not a criticism, just a challenge for us personally when wrangling children after having a late night. We’d stay here again if in the area. Beautiful home in a great area.

Blue Arc on the lake
The house is in a great location and provides a gorgeous view of the lake. However, I will not stay there again until the electrical issue is fixed. There are numerous switches on the walls and some arc when turned on or off and then trip a breaker. Use caution when turning the breaker back on cuz it also arcs. This should be fixed before its rented again.

Treasured Memories - Year 6
We have been booking this place for 6 years now and it has become our second home for our family trip. My grandkids call it the May House as we always go in May. We all love it as the amenities are perfect for everyone. We bring a lot of family games as well and with the nice yard, we have a family competition of wiffle ball, corn hole, ax throwing and kickball as well as the fishing and kayaking and nightly fires. Truly "Treasured Memories". So nice as the grandkids grow and remember these fun times away with family.

Girl Cuz Weekend
Our first visit to Treasure Lake and Sunshine Chalet was a great choice for our weekend. House was very accommodating for 10 women and we loved the large table for our dining and crafting. Kitchen was well stocked for all items needed. Having the extra frig/freezer in lower level was a bonus. The gas fireplace was enjoyed since unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the nice outdoor fire pit area. View of the lake was beautiful and very relaxing. Upper deck with large table that could seat all of us along with additional seating area was a plus. Bedroom set ups were great and beds compfy. Easy drive to Dubois for getting anything you need and/or looking for something to do. Recommend Angry Goat for nice place to eat.

A comfortable week on the lake
First, I will start with what we liked: The check-in was easy to follow. The house was BASICALLY clean, well-equipped kitchen, and a very large and clean washer/dryer. The view from the deck was great. Our grandsons (3 1/2 and 6) loved the small kayaks and the pedal boat. We also enjoyed watching the deer. What we didn’t like and why we deducted points. 1. When we arrived on Friday, I noticed that the yard was filled with GEESE DROPPINGS and DEER POOP, so much that it was hard to walk without stepping in it. I reached out to Meghan- she said that maybe the mower would pick it up. Since we had little ones with us, I spent over an HOUR picking up (by hand) the GEESE/DEER POOP..filling a whole grocery bag!!! I understand that geese are there, but I would have expected that they would have cleaned the yard. When the mower came, he would have just mowed over it. 2. There was NO KEURIG as stated in the description. When I reached out to Meghan she said that the previous renters had inform her that it was missing and that they have replaced it several times. I wished I had known prior as I would have brought my own Keurig maker. 3. Garbage.. we did bag our Garbage before putting it in the outside cans-animals still got in it- reading the rules it said that the Garbagemen wouldn’t collect it if it was not in bags as they reach into container. We spent another hour re-bagging other’s garbage-FYI they have mechanical garbage trucks-no one touches the cans.

Perfect fit for our family
This home was perfect for our three generations of family. With five roomy and comfortable bedrooms each one had our own space. The home’s location cannot be any better. More than enough room inside and out for the eight of us. Easy parking. Easy access to all Treasure Lake has to offer but we rarely left the property because we were so comfortable.. The outside lawn is flat leading out to the water’s edge. We took “floaties with us and had fun with them in the water But the kayaks and pedal boat were enjoyable also…. We loved watching the boaters go by. Everyone everywhere was very friendly. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Clarion Graduation Weekend
We celebrated our boys graduating from Clarion. It was the perfect house! We had everything we needed. The weather was not great, but the house was the perfect size that we were able to spread out and play games. We never felt cramped. The kitchen table makes for the perfect family game table. The boys did kayak between raindrops- those are so nice to have. There was lots of seating - inside and out. We all left talking about renting this same house again so we can all spend time together, since it is equal distance from all of us. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Wonderful Family Spot on the Lake!
We had a lovely time staying at Sunshine Chalet! The views of the lake from the house were so beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family which included a baby and two young kids. The gas fireplace was a lovely feature. It rained during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit but it was a great setup! Would love to stay again!
