This was a very good hotel. We had the half board option which allowed us to use all 3 restaurants in the hotel for dinner as well as all other First Collection Hotels restaurants. Breakfast was quite ordinary but the staff in every area were delightful.

This entire hotel was an amazing stay. The entire staff were very friendly & accomodating. The location is perfect. Walkable to Burj Kalifa, shopping, dining & the train. You are safe, no one bothers you. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is very inconvenient , anywhere you want to go, will not be easy, even the closest metro will take you 10-15 minutes in traffic at least 20 dhs (by the way, I found Taxi costs less than Uber). Had issue with bathroom (some weird smell), I see some other guest reported the same but I didn't want to change the room as we spent most of the time outside. Pay cash in local currency for your stay if option , because their exchange rate is lower & you will pay more than expected on foreign credit cards (even with no fees) . We had 2 Beds room but they are super small, not comfortable. Good breakfast options but paid. Not all the staff members you will find friendly as you normally expect.

There’s a construction nearby and they start early in the morning like around 7 or 8. So I got a mandatory wake-up alarm every morning for the 8 days of my stay. Some of the staff at the front desk were rude and not very friendly, although there are some that are nice and hospitable on certain days. But it’s not consistent as they have different staff on certain shifts. The hotel is out of the way from all the main sights and must use taxi or uber to get around, which are easy to get.

This might be a dealbreaker
I had an eight-night stay and this is the third time choosing this location for location, value and 4-star property. I’ve come to like the Shish Lounge for after work bite and Risen Cafe every morning for coffee and pastry. The customer service and hospitality are what you expect and appreciate from this level of hotel. The room standard with balcony is quite spacious; however the bathroom is tiny making it near impossible to shut the bathroom door. Water pressure is a bit slow when filling the tub for a bath but otherwise good. My chief concern is that of cleanliness. After a few days of stay I realized that the back blonde paneling that frame and is above the bed had not been cleaned in enough time to have caked on dust - this was disturbing to me. I brought it up to several people as I was disappointed that spending over $200 a night in summer in Dubai would have this. I believe it’s an oversight but I recommend you really thoroughly inspect the room before you stay in it.

Stayed for 3 nights - overall a good place. Breakfast was excellent, easy self parking, and kind staff. Room was clean and comfortable. A tad on the small side and the water leaked out of the shower but otherwise a 5 star review. Walked to the Burj Khalifa - took about 45 minutes. A small grocery store a couple buildings over if you’re looking for snacks or water.

Breakfast didn't have a good quality unfortunately. Staff are great. The gym is very basic and small. Our room was small but clean. Aircon is very noisy. The balcony was the best feature of our room.

We had a few issues, tv didn't work for a couple of days, there was a fire drill and we weren't told about it, apparently they left a letter in the rooms, but unfortunately not in ours. Imagine our scare when alarms started to play and the drill started. Not a nice way to wake up.
