We booked EasyHotel in Dublin due to the fact that other hotels were very expensive. It was our first experience of using an Easy hotel. The rooms are very small; uncomfortably so. There was no wardrobe with a small cove in the wall with three hangers to hang clothes. This wasn't enough and if you want to dry clothes following a day in the rain, it's near impossible to do so. We hung clothes on handles and the towel hook in the bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. We were fortunate to only have 2 nights there. Otherwise, we would have had to book elsewhere as it really effected our sleep. The walls are very thin, so every noise is heard in other rooms and on the corridors. The domestic staff in the mornings were VERY noisy and woke us each morning, just with their conversations and moving around the corridor. You are quite out of the city centre so if walking is difficult, this isn't the hotel for you. Also, the weather is unpredictable in Dublin, so we got caught in heavy rain on both evenings due to a 30 minute walk from the centre. Even though, relatively speaking, this wasn't a cheap stay, it was one of the cheapest in the city. Even so, it wasn't worth it and I would spend a little more for more comfort and closer to the city, if your finances allow.

The room and bathroom were extremely small and the beds were too firm for us but the price was an excellent value for Dublin. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and all the sights were within a walkable distance.

Hotel was a bit off the beaten path and street was pretty dark at night time. The most walkable tourist location was the Guinness Storehouse which was about 15 mins away. Amenities were bare minimum. Need to pay for coffee downstairs. Customer service was good and quick

Whilst the staff were excellent and the shared areas clean and tidy, rooms are not great, just poor design. Simply too basic for still a very high price - beds are hard, rooms impractical, nowhere to put luggage other than on the floor and bathrooms smell of urine. I would not return.

This hotels rooms are too small. I could not open up my suitcase unless it was on my bed. The bathroom was entirely too small. If you are in your 20’s and trying to save money, you can make this work. Otherwise spend a bit more and do not stay here. These are the new style of economic builds for hotels where they maximize space. The price was too high for what this was. The area around it was not even very nice. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. I was annoyed they did not clean my room everyday because my bathroom was alway soak from the shower being 1/2 of the bathroom. If you sit on the toilet your feet are in the shower. It was not far from Guinness and Jameson which was why I chose it.

Loved Our Stay

Located close to Dublin’s centre, very walkable. We enjoyed the restaurants in Stoneybatter. Marina and Marta were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and clean and we slept really well.

The mattresss was flipped to the wrong side. It was really uncomfortable until we flipped it back the following night. The pillows are also very flat though the staff did give extra pillows when we asked.
