Parking lot is limited and a bit difficult to get into when full, but it's the center of Dublin. That might be the absolutely only negative thing I can say, as everything else was great.

The property is a first class hotel. The desk staff has been excellent for us. We had a problem with flights from Ireland and the desk clerk, Sebastian, did a yeomen's job in helping us correct the problem. Everybody connected to the hotel has been very helpful and professional.

What an amazing hotel. Ideally located within walking distance of the centre of Dublin. Was not aware that we could have asked for a room with a bath when we did the reservation (they have this limited option which is great, but don't advertise it) and when I asked after our first night if there was any option to move to a room with a bath the second night they not only moved us, BUT gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite! Really enjoyed our stay here and they go above and beyond.

Nice to have fridge and coffee maker in room.We enjoyed the restaurants , bars near the hotel and the walk to St Stephen’s green. It was also a 15 minute walk to the canal street train station so we could take the train to Howth. The only negative were the metal gates/ fences along the canal in front of the hotel which detracted from beauty ( not the hotels fault). The price point was right for us and we didn’t want to be in a noisy area . It was quiet.

We loved the hotel, the location, the cleanliness, the service. My only knock was that rooms with the adjoining door either had very thin walls or doors were hollow core. You could hear a lot from other room. The adjoining room that did not have connecting door, never heard a peep. I would stay again but ask for a room that was not adjoining to another room.

We loved our stay at the Mespil, a modern hotel conveniently located in Dublin. It was located in a quiet neighborhood, yet, walking distance to all the bars and shops. The staff were all so helpful and nice! Our room was very comfortable. The shower worked well and the bed was perfect! We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed the last two nights of our trip at the Mespil Hotel in Dublin. Joao at the front desk gave us a beautiful room and even gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Our room was very comfortable and we slept very well both nights. The breakfast options at the hotel were excellent, and we ate there both mornings, even though it wasn't included in our rate. We can't say enough good things about Joao. He was great and really made us feel welcome!
