We had a great stay at the PointA Hotel Parnell Street. It is very well located - near one of the main streets in Dublin, close to transport, restaurants, attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and personable, which included moving our room when there were problems with our initial room. The breakfast was excellent; we would absolutely re-book for this hotel!

You will not be disappointed staying here. The staff are super friendly and helpful, location is great for walking, near O’Connell St and Temple Bar is not too far of a walk. Room is comfortable, modern.

Clean, with a nice lobby and bar. Safeguards for entering and leaving hotel. Room was clean and modern, but small. The lights are all touch activated with mood lights. Sounds good on paper, but annoying to figure out, as all you want to do is turn them on or off. We had two beds, but only one outlet for electrical on one far side of one bed. It should be between both beds at least or another outlet or at least a USB to charge mobile on the other side. There was no table in the room. There is a very small hutch that holds coffee and hair dryer. The also serves as the desk. There is a chair strapped to the wall to use with the desk. We also used it as a table between the beds. Bathroom is modern, but has a frosted glass door, with not much privacy for sounds. There is also laundry service at the hotel. The problem is that there is no instructions. We brought it to the desk to have simple washing done, but when we went to pick it up the next day, it was not completed. We asked why and they said it wasn’t picked up, so we asked to confirm & they said it would be picked up and done. The next day, we asked again and it was not picked up. When we asked why, they said we had to log in to an outside service to have picked up & washed. Needless to say, that was not mentioned at all, not on the laundry bag either. So, we didn’t have wash done before we checked out. We didn’t get replacement coffee on two of the days. Can’t recommend staying here for multiple nights.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Awful greeting from staff at check-in and very crowded lobby. Terrible check-in system they make you do yourself on computer screens. Surly staff. Hotel bar closed hours and hours early because of lack of staff. Awful view from room window into a disgusting and stinky tiny courtyard. Very disappointing and a total ripoff.

Hotel is brand new and clean but the service isn’t as great. The cleaning service doesn’t fully clean your room and some of the concierge are not very friendly or helpful. The manager was good though. Our panel lights kept turning off and on for days, our air conditioning kept turning off as well. It’s not very convenient and a bit of a pain

The hotel itself is nice, but nothing fancy for the price paid. It seems Dublin overall is quite expensive for the quality of what’s on offer. The staff at the hotel was lovely and very friendly. Happy to help. The area around the hotel can feel a bit dodgy after a certain time. During the day is ok.

My room was efficient, comfortable and spacious. Bathroom had plenty of surface area for toiletries, and the shower was clean and not cramped. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, which did not offer many healthy options.

It was irritating the bartender did not ask us if we wanted more drinks while we sat for a long time without service. Then the next night we came back to hotel to specifically have drinks about 10:00 pm and the bar was closed. Earlier it stated the bar was open till midnight or longer. Disappointed

The room was so small that you could barely walk around the twin beds. The room smelled terrible of mold. The bathroom had visible mold growing on the wall and ceiling. Do not recommend to anyone sensitive to mold.
