Really great area to bade yourself for a stay in Dubrovnik. Babin Kuk is mainly made up of resort hotels, including the Valamar group which meant you could use the loungers on the beach at the nearby President hotel. Only shame was that the al la carte poolside restaurant didnt stay open til 9pm as stated meaning one evening we found it difficult to find somewhere to eat. Our only other option was their €32 euro buffet restaurant! Really easy to get the bus into Dubrovnik as bus stops round the corner.

A big hotel but with some great facilities such as 3 pools spa and breakfast included. Quiet location with easy 10 minute bus link to the town. Amazing views and lovely weather. Staff friendly and helpful Surrounding area is mainly hotels and a small outdoor shopping centre that has seen better times! But has a mini market and a couple of cafes if you want to escape the hotel

We stayed early October, pools and facilities still all open. Staff were helpful and very polite. Hotel is great, everything you could want. Easy 3 min walk for bus. 5 min walk to the most beautiful views on the coast promenade. Head to the Royal hotel and walk through to the promenade from there, it is stunning and also gives you lots more options of restaurants and drinks. Sunset from anywhere on the prom is stunning. Breakfast at the hotel was great, everything available, quality fresh foods. Same for the evening buffet, so much choice and made fresh 35 euros if it’s not included in your stay. The poolside restaurant has seats outside and in shade, it’s open and looks very modern, menu is good for lunch and snacks, pizzas are great and also the pasta. The room was spacious, bed comfy, good size balcony, and we loved the bathroom, very modern and a huge shower. Clean and fresh. We booked excursions through the hotel, concierge service was informed and helpful, very easy booking and felt confident we had everything arranged. They even made us a breakfast box to take away on an early morning start. Very good service. Indoor pool and sauna were clean and very nice. Checked out the gym but didn’t use it, equipment looked everything you could need. We would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely return here ourselves. Thank you to all staff.

A Dream Stay in Dubrovnik – We Didn't Want to Leave! We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and genuinely wish we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views—everywhere we turned was another beautiful spot we wanted to explore or simply relax in. The amenities looked incredible, and while we didn’t have time to take full advantage of them all, what we did experience was top-notch. One of the biggest highlights? The breakfast. Hands down the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had—what a spread! Every detail was thoughtful, fresh, and delicious. This place has a magical feel and strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer next time!

A room with a view.

Over, it was great. Ines at front desk was outstanding. While we waited several hours to get our room, it was insufficient, dark, no view, overlooking a parking lot and a wall. Inez worked with us to accommodate us and finally put us in a room that was what we paid for. She was absolutely amazing and accommodate us thoroughly.

Rooms were clean but quite dated / tired. The pool area is fantastic and was easy to get a (although this was September so perhaps out of season). Drinks were reasonably priced and the breakfast selection had great variety.

The view at the pool is absolutely amazing, honestly, dont know if there is a better view in Dubrovnik. Overall, the service is pretty high a the resort I would say. I would give the hotel 5 stars, however, the beds and pillows are HORRIBLE and the rooms and hotel itself is getting a bit dated. Breakfast was 4+ star as well, which was nice, however, it could use a bit more labeling. For the price we paid, I would expect better beds & a bit better condition property.

We stayed for two nights after touring the islands along the coast via bike and boat. The hotel was more than we could have asked for--amazing massages and the pools and view were stupendous. We opted for the included breakfast which was amazing. 10/10 would return.

Bathroom designed by a child. Our group had 4 rooms and all of us had issues with the showers. Water all over the floor in all our cases. Poor quality pump soap. Only one soup for shampoo and wash. Paying $400 a night, let’s not be a motel 6… Prices don’t justify the hotel nickel and diming. I understand Croatia is a hot spot now, but hotels have gotten greedy.

Had a comfortable stay here. Staff were pleasant enough but not the most friendly I have experienced at a hotel! We arrived with a half-filled shower gel and broken pump, that wasn’t topped up for the 5 days we were there. Food options during the day were limited, we ended up at Oliva’s almost every day. We were half board and charged €14 for two peppermint teas! Dubrovnik old town is close enough, a 10 min taxi. We just got Ubers that averaged £7/£8. Would definitely consider paying the extra and staying at the President next time.

The pictures on Expedia are lovely, this is the reason we booked. After arrival the hotel needs a make over. The rooms and corridors are tired and bit smelly in places. The pools, restaurants are the best part to this hotel. After a couple of days of heavy rain, there was leaks all around the hotel, with random towels placed on the floor to catch the water. All in all not a 4 start hotel. Average 3 . The staff did help us with some inconvenience which made our stay a little more satisfying. Thanks
