We had a beautiful room. Felt like I was staying in a royal room. Great location, directly across from Fon-Duluth casino. Wasabi restaurant was right outside our door. Highly recommend.

We loved the uniqueness and the vintage atmosphere. That is why we chose this hotel. Much larger rooms than a typical hotel room. Price was very reasonable. The parking ramp was good/secure and right accross the street! All the older buildings were impressive, but looked as though prosperity was greater in days gone by. All in all, we lliked our experirnce at The Oliver Inn.d what we were

Loved the old time feel of the room! It was very comfy and the location downtown made for easy access to the sites we visited. The only downside was the Sushi smell from the restaurant in the same building.

The Oliver Inn was such a great place to stay. The history of the building, architectural design, and the speakeasy made this trip a one of a kind experience. With the location so close to the walking path to Fitgers and Canal Park, we were able to enjoy all our favorite places in Duluth. The view of the lake from our suite was beautiful!

It was good, clean, and nicely decorated. The Oliver Inn has much more character than most hotels, in a good way. The rooms are nice even without windows, as it gives the illusion of having windows.

Oliver Inn was a fantastic way to get to know Duluth. Very convenient for the canal and bridge, shopping, restaurants, walking and sightseeing. It may not be for everyone, however. It is a historic building, whose rooms have PERSONALITY galore. We stayed in the Dorothy Arnold room (12) with 4 poster bed, high ceilings, wood floors, loveseat, bathroom en suite. You enter the building through a Japanese restaurant, then climb the stairs or take the elevator to the next floor where you are instantly transported to the early 1900's. Comfortable and relaxing place if you enjoy that sort of thing, which we do. It has the mod-cons you expect in a nice comfortable room, but they are meant to blend into the time period.
