So many issues during our two night stay.
The key is not available at the property itself, but at the hotel next door - a walk in the rain.
I had asked for a room with disabled accessibility. It was certainly on the ground floor, but immediately beside the front door, which slammed closed every time someone entered (especially noisy at 3.30am!)
The double bed was pushed against the wall, which meant one of us had to either climb over the other, or slide to the bottom of the bed to get out? Not very accessible! I mentioned it to the manager, who was not at all helpful, and he said he'd "look into it".
The condition of the house and the room was shocking. Perhaps the worst thing was the bathroom. The light and fan was motion sensored, with no option to turn it off. When going into the bathroom, the light lit up the bedroom and the noise of the fan was dreadful! Like a helicopter taking off. When taking a shower the light would go off plunging the bathroom into darkness, and the person in the shower would have to put an arm etc out from behind the curtain to turn the light on again. Very difficult for a disabled person.
We asked the manager for a change of room for our second night, but all his "5 properties were full"!
Breakfast was poor. Again, we had to go next door to eat.
So many problems with this guesthouse,, my advice - stay away!
