Enjoy sea-views from the living-room or be walking on the sand in 1 minute. The deck at the rear is sunny and rural with a sheltered BBQ area. Fully renovated, in keeping with it's Art Deco architecture, the gas-fire warms the living-room. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable (king in master/twin singles in 2nd bedroom) and OSP for 4 cars. It's a 7 minute walk to the swimming beach, cafe and dairy. Take the 16kms to Taieri Mouth for coastal scenery, fishing, walks and picnics.

Brilliant stay!
The bach is absolutely fantastic...cozy, warm and in an amazing location. Beautiful view of the hills out the back, and of the beach out the front. The beach area is awesome for walks and exploring. Fantastic hosts too, everything was super easy and very pleasant. Thanks!

Perfect break from a busy life

Spotlessly clean bach across the road (moderately busy in case traffic noise worries you) from a beautiful empty sandy beach. Just 20 mins drive from Dunedin.

Away from the city
The house has plenty of character and charm, I enjoyed my stay, I wish I could have stayed longer. It had everything I needed. It is away from the city, with a nice kept fenced yard. You can hear and see the ocean out the front (across the road) and the sheep grazing on the hill in the back.

Bach in Brighton Beach
I loved this cosy bach only 20 mins from central Dunedin. Hearing the ocean as you drift off to sleep is so peaceful. Everything I needed was provided, and breakfast was a nice touch. Thank you! I would absolutely recommend this bach.

Warm and cosy cottage
Great little place, directly across from the beach with an amazing view. Enough room to comfortably fit 3 adults for 2 weeks and not feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of space for family who live locally to come visit, the board games and toys were a fun addition. Kitchen well stocked for cooking (plus a very generous starter kit for breakfast). Linen and bedding all great. And we were so warm, even when the weather got pretty wild outside!

A lovely reatreat by the beach - everything you need and with a view!
We really enjoyed our stay and it felt like a home away from home - clean, warm, spacious & comfortable and had everything we needed. It is light & bright with a sunny north facing decking & lovely views of the sea from the living room. Lots of close & easy access down to the beach - an absolute gem!!

Loved it! Four days is not enough to explore this gorgeous region.
This cozy unit is better than described. Not only is it adorable and spotless, it offers incredible sunrises and sunsets! I kept thinking I was in Maui. 🌅 Highly recommend this little unit. We’ll be back on our next southern hemisphere visit. Sheri (Canada)

Combined seaside/ country destination
Easy to find wee house on the Southern scenic route, close enough to Dunedin to be near the city yet far enough along the coast to be a seaside location with farms right on the back fence. Beautifully clean, warm crib with all necessities provided. Hostess, Janet very approachable & friendly. Only regret was that we had a timetable that didn't give us enough time to enjoy our stay there
