Really the hotel is very clean and neat and the room is spacious with clean bathroom , I would like to suggest adding flexible bidet sprayer to the bathtub. Also the price is very good comparing with hotel level . Thanks Sweet Chestnut.

No breakfast available for xmas morning and pub shut at 8. no chair in room no net curtains looked straight out onto car park. Shower was appalling . Very disappointed no one to tell as reception was in pub and pub was shut.

A bit old and rundown, but it did us for what we needed it for, it’s very close to lots of dining options, bowling, bingo, cinema etc, there is no 24 hour reception. They are based at the sweet chestnut next door in the restaurant. There is no accessible lift either so if you end up on the second floor, you have to take the stairs, which isn’t great with two toddlers and two buggies.

Lovely clean warm hotel. But no reception
The hotel was very clean and warm. Is was a very relaxing stay. There is only one downfall there is no longer a reception Which mean you have to check in at a very busy pub next door.
