Thanks for the support that the ladies over there gave to us last week with our cabin code Expedia supposed to sent it to us but we never get the code for access our cabin at night.
Very convenient property if you are on your way to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon National park. Rooms are small but cozy. Mattress could be better as it is a little more spongy. The TV in the room was a smart one and since we had a small kid, it was useful after the long day.
Lisa was extremely helpful in getting us settled into our cabin. She even helped us with our bags when we arrived and when we left. It is a rustic cabin with a separate bathroom and shower, as stated in the description. The bathroom was very close to our cabin, just a few steps away.
We really liked the property, it was a bit different since I had not stayed in a cabin with a bathroom at a distance, but it was a nice and different experience, I would rent again when I go again
We were very happy with our stay at Gena's. The rooms are small, yes, but they are just what you need when you are out and about all day exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We did pay extra to use the kitchen space as we like to prepare all our own meals so this worked very well for us. We brought our dog and ran into a problem with the doggie day care that we were going to use and the housekeeping staff took turns walking her during the day while we visited the park. Super friendly staff and very accommodating
The location is very good if you want to visit King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It is easy to find the location, easy access from freeway. easy for parking. We checked in by ourselves with the room code, the room is very clean. Only drawback is the noise from the road, as the Inn is just off the road 180, so it's a bit noisy especially for people need quiet place to get into sleep.
Gena’s Sierra Inn was in a perfect location to get to King’s Canyon National Park.
The bed was comfy and the room cozy. I was solo so it was the perfect size for me. The Restaurant has a big and varied menu and was perfect after a day of hiking. It is open from 5-9 PM and the food was yummy with very generous portions. The air conditioner was a little loud but the second night I was able to open my windows which was lovely. The owner is very supportive of quiet times so it was very peaceful and serene. A gas station with some groceries is just down the street with an excellent cafe across the street from it for morning coffee and breakfast/lunch. The people working at Gena’s were very upbeat, friendly and helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The furnished queen bed and bunk beds pretty much filled this small room, so no table, shelves, fridge, or microwave. It is a convenient location to Sequoia/Kings Canyon Parks, and the price is good.
I'd totally stay here again. Very clean, reasonably priced, close enough to a gas station and close enough to Fresno for anyone flying in there. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The restaurant isnt open in the morning/mid-day but the staff is quick to answer phone calls. I also overheard someone going above and beyond for a couple that was asking about food options while their restaurant was closed. Our group rented the Hunter's Lodge and a private room, in the future I'll book way in advanced to be able to secure the more private cabin.
