Nice newer hotel but very limited parking in parking lot and if you drive a pickup truck like most of Colorado does getting into the underground parking lot is extremely challenging. Close to everything downtown Durango. It’s clean, new and basic. The only complaint I really had was that the desk clerk with the neck tattoo was snarky with us more than once and when we tried to talk to him about it he just wanted to be right. That doesn’t scream “customer satisfaction”. We wouldn’t stay there again. Now that we’ve been there we can see there are a lot of better options in the area.

This property saved our butts. We were booked with another hotel which was horrible. We checked out of there in the middle of my work day (working remote) and headed to the Holiday Inn Express. They had a room available immediately so that I could continue my work day. The property was all clean and very well maintained. We were very pleased and will definately stay there again in the future.

Super Friendly Staff. Mostly clean with the ice machine not working on level 2. The room was well kept. The breakfast was amazing everyday. This was an exceptional stay for my family. Con- Very active upstairs visitor. Stomping for long periods of time overnight. I recommend staying on the third floor to avoid this if a possibility.

The construction on the property was not able to work with the traffic that was supposed to be checking in . There were no mirrors in the hotel room, only the 1 in the restroom ? The hotel room had no feel that we were in Colorado. The abstract art ? Make you feel as if you’re in any hotel in the USA . I and my family have been coming to Durango Co since the 60s and this little town has lost its feel , smell and taste.

The property was good and I enjoyed our stay there. However, after leaving they charged my card a parking fee despite not telling me up front that there was a charge for parking and they told me when I checked out we were all settled up. Seems a little dishonest. Also, a day later I found an additional charge on my card from them with no explanation. Even more dishonest.

The location is great for walking to bars, restaurants, and shops. Very nice and peaceful view of river off back deck of hotel and a pretty substantial breakfast selection.

It seemed understaffed, and check in was mayhem. I came early and the lady at the front desk said, that she had me in a nice room overlooking the river, but it wasn't ready. I came back at 4pm, but Then when I went back to see if it was ready, it still wasn't. The poor front desk guy was overwhelmed with everyone coming in at once, and somebody else got my nice view room and I got front and center of the busy road. The sound proofing is pretty good but the air conditioner was really loud in the room, and there is a lot of motor cycle and suped up car action outside. The Prices are good, But not sure what the $20 daily fee,is for when you don't have a car to park? The Staff were all great and the Hotel is spotless.
