The cottage is composed of a floor and a ground floor.
Upstairs, there are 8 bedrooms, 4 large bedrooms (3 to 4 people) equipped with bathrooms with sink + bathtub and 4 small ones (2 people) with sink, for the bedrooms being occupied only with sink, there is has two independent bathrooms (one shower and one bath) and 2 toilets.

On the ground floor, there is the living room / dining room / kitchen / 2WC part and a second part with a games room.

The living room has a large armchair overlooking the TV equipped with proximus.
For the dining area, a long table can seat 18 people and an additional table for 4 people.
The kitchen has two fridges, an electric induction tackle, a gas tackle, with an oven, a dishwasher and 2 freezers.

For the playroom part, it is isolated from the other parts, connecting it with a door. which allows travelers to have fun on one side and have a little more peace on the other. It is the game room par excellence, 2 billiards (1 American and 1 stopper), a table football and several comfortable armchairs overlooking a second TV equipped with proximus. The atmosphere of a game of billiards / table football while watching TV is waiting for you.

The cottage has wi-fi and light decoration to minimize breakage, so you don't have to worry about your children (or adults) breaking something.
The garden is fenced and has a barbecue, pets are allowed.
A second building in the property has inside a sauna and a jacuzzi, this is the famous welness area.

The calendar has been adapted for weekends (Friday to Sunday) and midweek (Monday to Friday).

We hadden van de inrichting en kwaliteit meer verwacht. Biljarten scheef en kapotte ballen. Open haard functioneerde niet. Zitkamerindeling niet goed. Keukentje veel te klein. Beddengoed te oud en dat voelt dan vies. Gevaarlijk gladde tegels bij voordeur (bij regen). Positief: Sauna en jacuzzi gebouw was top! Let op: gas, licht en watergebruik wordt extra berekend.

Er is niet te communiceren met de host ook komt hij met onverwachte bezoeken langs gedurende het weekend. Het huisje zelf was verder heel karig en in verouderde staat, gevaarlijk gladde vloeren en betonnen randen ook met stijle gevaarlijke trappen. In de tuin ligt allemaal afval en de bbq werkt slecht. Ook krijg je als je thuis bent onverwachte kosten achteraf.

We had a nice stay
Only the dishes were not properly clean, so we washed it before using it. But the rest of the house was perfectly clean. A lot of space, inside and outside. We like to stay over in this house again. I can recommend it to others.

Agréable séjour en famille 😇 attention la cuisine est fort petite pour 20 personnes. Les frigos sont petits. Salon petit pour être tous ensemble. Bâtiment sauna, jacuzzi très agréable !

Het verblijf was prima. Het was erg onhandig dat de eigenaar alleen Frans spreekt en geen woord in een andere taal. Vooral bij het inchecken was dit erg lastig. Ik had verwacht dat hij bij het huis zou zijn, maar hij gaf de instructies over afval en gas/water/licht telefonisch.

We hebben met onze hele familie: opa, oma, en 3 gezinnen doorgebracht in Barvaux. Het huis is groot genoeg om met 14 personen, ook bij slecht weer, elkaar niet in de weg te zitten. Goede bedden, genoeg sanitaire voorzieningen en een vloer, die eenvoudig schoon te houden is. De voorzieningen voor de jeugd, zoals poolbiljart en videogames, konden zonder problemen gebruikt worden. Ondanks het soms slechte weer toch flink kunnen wandelen. En een bezoek aan Durbuy is altijd leuk. Verrassend was het bezoek aan het restaurant om de hoek: Echt lekker gegeten, alleen de jeugd vond de spareribs niet zo geweldig. De rest was eenvoudig, maar goed bereid en smaakvol. Kortom een 8 uit 10 voor het restaurant. Ok de jacuzzi en de sauna zijn veelvuldig gebruikt. Er is wel een heel bijzonder ding: de koelkasten in de keuken zijn direct naast de verwarming geplaatst, of andersom. Lijkt me energetisch organisatorisch niet zo slim. De keuken is overigens ook voorzien van alle moderne benodigdheden: Gas- en inductiefornuis zijn aanwezig, de pannen zijn echter voornamelijk bedoeld om op gas te koken. Onze eigen meegebrachte gietijzeren pastasauspan ging uitstekend op de inductie. Er is voldoende ruimte om de auto's te parkeren: wij hadden er 4 bij ons. Het afval wordt niet, zoals op andere plaatsen, strikt gescheiden: alles in de afvalcontainer. Maar het was vooral leuk, ondanks het slechte weer. Rien Kluitmans, Geldrop, Nederland.

Très bon gîte pour une réunion d'amis
Gîte adapté pour un grand groupe - bémol sur l'électromenager cependant. Communication avec le propriétaire très facile et très réactif ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour - gros plus pour le sauna :)
