When you are a guest at the Farm you have acres and acres of property available for your outdoor recreation, rest, and enjoyment of the property’s tranquility.
Come walk the Pond and Creek Paths, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peacefulness of walking, snow shoeing, or cross-country skiing among the hayfield knolls, the meandering creek and the mature forest. Experience the quiet solitude of the Norwegian Pine Trail only then to be surrounded by the warmth of the pellet stove in the living room each evening after watching a beautiful sunset. Enjoy the Farm while it is at winter rest.
The flavors of a grand meal prepared in our Epicurean Kitchen, and the continued warmth of the pellet stove in the living room await you as you complete a full day and settle in with your favorite evening libation.
If you seek more challenging activities bring your sled or toboggan and give them a try on our hillsides or enjoy the exhilarating Toboggan Slide in Eagle's Mere. Recreate, rest and restore.
Wrap up your day with a fire by the pond, (firewood is provided at no charge) or settle in with your favorite evening libation on the deck while watching wonderful sunsets reflect on the pond via the expansive westward views. Finally, at the end of the evening step outside on a clear night marvel at the thousands of twinkling stars.
Sleep well through the night on our premium king and queen beds and enjoy our 400 sq. ft. 1st floor Master Bedroom with private bath and sitting area which provides easy access for persons with limited mobility and its own private views of the westward sunsets.
Whispering Willows Farm is just 20 minutes away from 2 of PA's most beautiful State Parks , Worlds End offering exciting mountain biking, kayaking and hiking and Rickets Glenn with its magnificent waterfalls, acres of preserved woodlands and the Loyalsock State Forest and state game land nearby.
For your safety and convenience, the Farmhouse has a state of the art whole house emergency generator system and security system. We also have an office area with printer, paper, ink, desk chair, and monitor... all free of charge.

Sullivan County is noted for its beautiful scenery and wildlife, creating a perfect setting for many outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, swimming, camping, and many civic events during all seasons. This is the perfect area for a get-away.
Ricketts Glen harbors Glens Natural Area, a National Natural Landmark. Take the Falls Trail and explore the Glens, which boast a series of wild, free-flowing waterfalls, each cascading through rock-strewn clefts in this ancient hillside. The 94-foot Ganoga Falls is the highest of 22 named waterfalls. Old growth timber and diverse wildlife add to the scenic area. Ricketts Glen State Park is one of the most scenic areas in Pennsylvania.
Worlds End State Park is in a narrow S-shaped valley of the Loyalsock Creek just south of Forksville, Sullivan County. Enjoy the 10 Must See Waterfalls and the Loyalsock Canyon Vista, reached via Mineral Spring and Cold Run roads, provides outstanding views, especially during fall foliage.
While in Sullivan County, take a moment to view three covered bridges, numerous scenic overlooks and museum in Laporte. Enjoy a visit to historic Eagles Mere and browse through the arts and crafts shops, or enjoy the exhilarating Toboggan Slide in the winter. Visit the small towns and villages, stop in at the general stores and visit with local folks, whom you will find very friendly and helpful.
Dushore's unique location and close proximity to two of PA's most beautiful State Parks, Rickett's Glen and World's End, make it the perfect home-base for upstate PA activities. Known as the only stoplight in the area, businesses like the Jolly Trolley, Whistle Stop, Rail Car Shop, and Hotel Harrington reflect the town's railroad and ice cream history. Kast Pond is a perfect spot for fishing or a picnic. St Basil's Church, built by German immigrants, is a picturesque sight on the hill above the town. Founder's Day in August is a highlight of the summer. The outhouse races, keg races and a full day of events draw large crowds. There are several wineries within a 15-minute drive. Five miles from town, hikers can engage the Loyalsock Trail, part of the Appalachian Trail. Founded in 1859, the town is named after a Frenchman who ventured from France to Philadelphia to the French Asylum, where he was given the area of Dushore to farm.
