Flushed a cockroach and I asked if the hotel will be quiet. They put me in a room in ground floor and then they put another guest above my room. Very heavy walker all night long. I'm a light sleeper with a heart condition.

I booked 2 rooms to sleep 8 people instead I got a 2 bdr suit that slept only 5. The website said it slept up to 8. The hotel and website did not match up to what I was looking for. They did not even have roll away beds so I had to purchase an additional room. The breakfast options were very very small and did not even have syrup for the waffles. The room carpet needed shampooing for there were spots that looked like something was spilled and dried up. They did not even have any hand soap and dish washing liquid. Our bathtub was so worn it looked like it had a ton of grime on it b it the enamel was worn off instead. There were two ladies that checked people out with poor attitudes. They were very unfriendly. The only good thing were the the two guys that check us in they were understanding and friendly. I will never stay there again.

The front desk staff were great. Pretty great breakfast with lots of options. Overall a quiet stay. Quite a bit of damage in our suite. Broken doors, ripped up carpet, damage to the furniture. Thankfully we checked our windows before going to bed, as two were unlocked and left open, not usually a big deal except we were on the first floor. Also found it a bit odd that the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 11:20 when checkout is noon (we hadn't checked out yet), then proceeded to wait outside the door until we left 20 minutes later. Pool is closed, yet not at all surprised as cooler days are here, just wanted to make others aware.

Front desk staff would leave notes and not even be at the front desk, keys were constantly failing to work, curtains in 2 rooms were ripped up, bathroom walls were soggy and literally peeling, elevator broke down and we were on top floor. The hotel says pool, but it is literally an outdoor pool that closes in the fall time and is only open in the summer, so our 4 children couldn't swim. Even though the description stated pool. All of the information on this hotel was very sneakily ignoring the facts that it is not maintained very well, and doesn't have half the amenities even functional.

Decent place, really nice people
I've stayed here twice. The location is great - close to pretty much everything on the south side of the Twin Cities and with easy access to the freeways that wrap around to the north. Even though it's close to everything, there's still some nature around so it doesn't feel like a concrete jungle. The best thing about it is the folks who work there. They're very friendly and helpful, and the building is secure (can't get in without a room key). It's about a 15 minute drive to the airport.

Room was just what was needed. Not easy to find 2br suites. Key cards were not very reliable. Front desk was helpful, but obviously did not look at our account ir stay length when making excuses about faulty keys. Overal was just what was needed.

The trim in the bathroom was full of mildew/mold all along baseboard. Loud yelling/fighting in the middle of the night from guests. Woke up to guest yelling “police, police!” Didn’t make me feel very safe. Front desk worker was very kind. Breakfast was great.

Staff wasn’t great for the most part, wouldn’t answer front desk phone, had to request towels several times, housekeeping didn’t change bedding once during our 5 day stay, only took our garbage and cleaned our room twice. Not sure if they vacuumed though.. hotel was noisy with kids/adults being loud in hallway until early morning hours. People above our room sounded like elephants. Pool was never cleaned during our stay, leaves, dirt, always in the pool. Pool was heated so that was nice but it’s really small. The best part about this hotel is the free shuttle, when the front desk would answer for scheduling. Shuttle drivers are knowledgeable and extremely helpful of the area. Most of the time we called Springhill across the street to arrange shuttles, they answered everytime.

Second year in a row staying here for a week with my family and it’s always a great experience. Staff is always nice to me and my family, breakfast is great, and it’s just in a great central area of Minnesota for anything you might want to do.
