Our stay was okay overall. The staff were helpful and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, there was an odor in the room when we first walked in, almost like dried sweat. While the bed sheets were clean, it seems the carpets might need to be replaced, as that’s likely where the odor is coming from. I had to purchase an odor eliminator spray to help out with the odor.

The Hyatt Place met my needs close to PDX and many, walkable dining options. This particular Hyatt Place seemed a little worn compared to others where I've stayed. Breakfast is average, serving both hot and cold items (other Hyatt Places have had a little more variety). The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from public transportation, making trips into downtown Portand very easy.
